**Your day at NTT DATA**
The Networking Sales Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert and is a quota-bearing sales persona. The purpose of this role is to primarily pursue, and land qualified leads identified by the Client Management team and other respective teams.
The Networking Sales Specialist identifies new opportunities from a selection of existing accounts, and presents solutions, value propositions, partner configurations, cost structures, and revenue models to the client that meet their needs.
The Networking Sales Specialist works directly with clients at a variety of levels, as well as internal subject matter experts.
A substantial amount of time is spent on engaged selling or supporting the sales process in partnership with Client Managers. This role contributes to the pre-sales process by working with pre-sales architects to create the best solution design for the client, as well as building and developing excellent stakeholder relationships with new and existing clients, whilst developing new business channels and territories.
You will be busy building and nurturing client relationships, acting as the internal owner for assigned accounts. You will become a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their most pressing business challenges and offering solutions that make a real impact. You will lead conversations at the C-level, positioning NTT DATA's offerings effectively to drive expansion and renewals.
Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will work with pre-sales architects to design the best solutions, ensuring our proposals are compelling and delivered on time. Your deep industry knowledge and DATA-driven insights will help you stay ahead of trends, allowing you to have meaningful conversations with clients and continually drive growth.
You will manage the entire sales process, from owning the sales cycle to structuring complex deals and negotiations. Your role will require you to minimize client churn, maximize retention, and drive business growth through excellent stakeholder relationships and thorough opportunity management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain subject matter expertise in the Network technology domain.
+ Support the closure of sales based on technology domain knowledge.
+ Addresses the technology conceptual challenges during the sales process.
+ Maintains a high level of relevant product and service knowledge to have meaningful conversations with potential and existing clients.
+ Maintains awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategy and how to penetrate a new market.
+ Works with relevant technology vendors and ensures a deep understanding of their solutions and how they can contribute to our own solutions set.
+ Engages and interacts with clients to uncover and understand client business goals and articulates the solution/deliverables that the client requires, as opposed to the products that they need to buy.
+ Prepares and conducts client workshops and presentations and establishes relationships with multiple client stakeholders and secures deals with clients to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
+ Uses understanding of the client's business and depth of knowledge on the technology-specific solution to personalize the recommended solution in line with the client's need.
+ Identifies and acts on new sales opportunities within an account and works with the sales teams to drive them to closure.
+ Pursues and lands qualified leads identified by the client managers and other lead generation sources.
+ Executes on the sales strategy and supports the wider territory sales plan, defining own plan for the solution to ensure that sales target is achieved.
+ Develops and maintains clear account plans for appropriate clients and targets.
+ Identifies, assesses and highlights client risks that could prove detrimental to the client's organization and credibility.
+ Partners with internal teams to ensure the scope of work and proposals are tracked and managed.
+ Uses sales methodologies and tools such as opportunity plans, and account plans to drive the sales process.
+ Develops and implements an opportunity plan, to provide regular check-ins with the primary point of contact and have an established process for getting buy-in from all stakeholders.

We are looking for a motivated Sales & Technology Specialist to join our growing team. This hybrid role involves both customer-facing sales and technical installation of smart home products. The right candidate will have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for technology.

Sales Responsibilities:
  • Engage customers (walk-in, online, and corporate clients) to introduce smart home solutions.
  • Demonstrate smart home products and explain benefits.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and close sales.
  • Maintain customer relationships and provide after-sales support.
Technical Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and test smart home devices (lighting, sensors, cameras, hubs, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers.
  • Conduct on-site visits for setup, maintenance, and training.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
  • Nitec/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related fields (preferred).
  • Prior experience in sales, electrical work, or IT networking is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with on-site installation work.

Roles & Responsibilities
Investor Client Conversion and Acquisition:
Identify and convert existing client base and seek new clients and business opportunities. Primarily responsible for Investor client acquisition for Corporate and Individual investors
Lead Nurturing:
Cultivate relationships with current investor leads and convert them into investment clients
Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Conduct client meetings to understand their needs, propose various products to meet needs and develop opportunities
Sales and Revenue Growth:
Drive sales efforts to meet revenue targets. Develop and manage sales pipelines, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions. Prepare and present proposals and pitches to prospective clients
Secondary Responsibility
for Issuer Onboarding, supporting Issuer Onboarding colleague
Compliance:
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements
Requirements
Hunter profile with sales experience in private banking/wealth management/relationship management, such as private banker, premier banker, relationship manager, etc;
3 to 5 years of experience to be considered for Business Development; more than 5 years of experience to be considered for Senior Business Development;
For Senior Business Development - Minimum USD 100 MM fundraising or AUM track record to be considered;
Existing network of HNW / UHNWI clients and strong client connectivity in Singapore and the region;
Tech savvy with high degree of comfort in using leveraging digital tools such as CRM to drive investor onboarding, investor queries, book-building to deal execution;
Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
Highly motivated, independent self-starter and team player who is able to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that is continually changing;
Ideal candidate to be knowledgeable in private market opportunities including ListCo bonds, PE/VC funds, pre-IPO unicorns and real estate.
