Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Leadership Position to oversee our team of professionals, driving strategic initiatives and projects that support our organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- SUPERVISE AND COORDINATE STAFF: Under broad direction, supervises others either directly or through subordinate supervisors and/or team leaders.
- DEVELOP AND JUSTIFY PROJECTS: Coordinates diverse activities within a functional area. Develops, prioritizes and justifies various projects, processes and/or initiatives supporting strategic direction.
- DETERMINE TACTICAL DIRECTION: Determines tactical direction with regard to policy/procedures, work force staffing, and budgeting.
- SET STRATEGIC DIRECTION: Participates in setting strategic direction.
- MANAGE DEPARTMENT RESOURCES: Oversees department budgets and manages performance and salaries of staff by hiring, firing, conducting performance appraisals, coaching and mentoring for career and skills development, and arranging training.
- LEAD CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS: Leads a cross-functional team in developing, prioritizing and justifying various corporate projects, PSL projects and/or initiatives (e.g., standards, best practices, lessons learned).
Requirements:
- EDUCATION: Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent degree, and minimum of 13 years experience or through equivalent work experience.
- CERTIFICATION: Incumbents at this level will usually hold a certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer.
