Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive CloudOps Engineer to join our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). This role is critical in managing the operations and automation of our multi-cloud environments, with a primary focus on AWS. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in cloud operations, EC2, ECS, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and support cloud infrastructure with a focus on availability, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Manage and maintain infrastructure on AWS, especially EC2 and ECS, supporting critical applications and services.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration tasks using Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash scripts.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, enabling automated build, test, deployment, and infrastructure changes.
  • Administer and support containerized workloads on Amazon ECS and EC2-hosted environments.
  • Monitor system health, automate routine tasks, and improve infrastructure reliability.
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Drive automation and self-healing mechanisms to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and deployment processes to ensure consistency and operational readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to cloud governance, security, and operational standards.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud operations, with strong hands-on experience in AWS.
  • Proven expertise in managing EC2, ECS, and related AWS services in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • Solid understanding of Linux-based systems and scripting (Bash, Python preferred).
  • Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD, including pipeline creation and automation for cloud resources and applications.
  • Strong understanding of IAM, VPC, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, CloudWatch, ELB, S3, scaling, and backup practices.
  • Experience supporting high-availability production environments with focus on operational excellence.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Qualifications

Build and maintain cutting-edge web platforms that connect talented traders with our systems. As a developer, you'll create and maintain web applications, APIs, and backoffice platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain websites, APIs, and backoffice platforms
  • Collaborate with designers and product owners
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
  • Support new features enhancing trader success and platform scalability
Required Skills
  • Strong Python, PHP, MySQL/Postgresql skills; Golang and Firebase advantageous
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and Websockets
  • Git version control experience
  • Security best practices and performance optimization understanding
