We are looking for a GSE Technician to maintain and repair Ground Support Equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Inspect mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Inspect Automotive & GSE electronic & mechanic systems to repair, maintain and modification
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to functionality and longevity
- Schedule future maintenance sessions
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
- Keep logs on work and issues
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Requirements and skills
- Basic experience as GSE Technician
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of Automotive / GSE
- Working knowledge of diagnostic systems and methods
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
- Excellent physical condition

Calibrate sensors, actuators, and control components.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Assist in the design and implementation of improvements to existing equipment.
Work with engineering teams to test and commission new machinery and prototypes.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate service logs.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
Train operators and maintenance staff on new equipment and technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience (2–4 years preferred) as a technician in an industrial, manufacturing, or automation environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI interfaces, Drives and industrial robotics is an advantage.
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and perform root cause analysis.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Good communication skills and ability to maintain clear documentation.
Education and Experience:
- NITEC or higher NITEC Certificate or any other professional qualification
Work environment:
Standard office hours
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts if required.

- Carry out in-house preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all facilities, building and services system.
- Attend to day-to-day maintenance operations for all facilities, building and services system and maintain proper records of maintenance checklists and documentations.
- Liaising and coordinating with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep all the above systems in operational state.
- Perform standby / duty to attend to system fault during or after office hours, weekends and public holidays when needed.
- Minimise all facilities, building and services downtime during operation.
- Log, update and maintain all facilities, building and services spare parts, tools and instruments.
- To be able to work under sub-zero environment and no phobia of heights.
- To inform immediate superiors/duty personnels for all faults/alarms/abnormalities for all systems.

- Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by Head of Department.
Job Requirement:
- Nitec/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years' relevant experience in manufacturing industry
- Hands-on and strong technical competencies in equipment maintenance
- Must be physically fit, no colour blind and height phobia
- Ability to work under pressure and tight schedules
- Proficiency in both English & Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates)
- Willingness to perform shift work, 5 days workweek
