Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform servicing and maintenance of equipment and systems, installation of machinery.
The successful candidate will collect and monitor customer equipment performance indices, perform scheduled preventive maintenance with the customer when required, liaise directly with customers for their requirements, and coordinate projects for installation and training.
Key responsibilities include performing on-call and standby duties as required, taking the initiative to identify and resolve technical issues, being a team player and meticulous in details, having a positive attitude in customer service, and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- A Class 3 driving license is preferred.
- Experience in setting up and servicing FPI Cleaning Lines or high vacuum systems or heat treatment furnaces, as well as CNC/PLC control systems, is preferred.
Additional skills include excellent problem-solving skills, hands-on individuals with competency in both electronics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems, good communication skills, and full-time positions available. Only Singaporeans and PR can apply.

- Set up and operate test equipment in the repair, overhaul and modification of Avionics Line Replaceable Units.
- Conduct regular functional/self test and calibration on Automated/Manual Test Equipment.
- Ensure all test equipment are within calibration due-date before testing of LRU is carried out.
- Perform modification in accordance to service bulletins on LRUs as and when required.
- Troubleshoot customer's unit and return it to serviceable condition in the most efficient manner.
- Verify and ensure all repairs or modifications carried out conform to quality and workmanship standards.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices at work place and test benches at all time.
- Carry out duties as assigned by the Supervisor to meet team's objectives.
Requirement:
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electronic Engineering or any other related discipline.
- Preferably 1- 2 years work experience conducting board-level repair work
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
- Good understanding of electronics theory.
- Experience working in a Workshop Environment will be favored.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role.

Role Overview:
- Perform specific calibrations, NDT and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection of parts
- Correct interpretation and understand the inspection operation sheets and work instruction
- Organize, sort and prepare the parts for NDT inspection
- Load, unload and operate either the real-time XR, UT or auto FPI line effectively
- Perform either X-Ray Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particles Inspection in accordance with the inspection operation sheets
- Ensure the equipment operation readiness always
- Assist the Engineer for any inspection evaluation and reporting
- Upkeep of process system and testing equipment to ensure its continuous operations in compliance to approved documents
- Prepare and clean parts before and/or after inspection.
- Conduct audits in NDT area to ensure continuous system compliance to meet regulatory agencies requirements
- Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience in NDT
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum GCE 'O' level and/or with 5 years' experience in Quality Inspection; or
- Minimum GCE 'O' level and/or with 2 years' of NDT experience; or
- Diploma holders in Aircraft Maintenance/Aerospace Engineering; or
- Preferably CAAS Approval in NDT certification
- Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in NDT per NAS 410 standard in any of the following methods: NDT –PT/ NDT – X-Ray/ NDT – UT /NDT – ECI /NDT – MPI
- Knowledge in NDT per ASNT Level I, II or III in any of the following methods: NDT – X-Ray/ NDT – UT/ NDT – ECI/ NDT – MPI
