Senior Architect Position

• This is a senior architect position for a technology solution lead.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions that meet project requirements and IT strategies. This includes conceptualizing and designing the overall technical architecture, working with enterprise architects and systems SMEs to ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy, standards, and guidelines, and acting as a bridge between enterprise architects and the project's technical delivery team.

The candidate must provide technical leadership in evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and platform capabilities to enhance proposed solutions. Additionally, they will mentor development teams and technical leads in adhering to architecture principles and design patterns, create and update/review technical documentation, communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and articulate and get buy-in from IT management and the enterprise technology/architecture board for the technical solution.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or a related discipline, and at least 15 years of working experience in the financial industry with a minimum of 10 years in solution design and architecture roles. They must be familiar with the system and project implementation lifecycle in a banking environment, have experience in people management and team leadership, and have designed and implemented large-scale, enterprise-wide technology solutions involving end-to-end integration between channels, systems, middleware, data warehouse, etc.

Familiarity with broad banking technologies, application systems, and industry trends is required, along with experience in modern engineering practices, data platforms, cloud computing services, middleware technologies, container orchestration platforms, and application monitoring tools. The candidate should also have implementation, functional, operational knowledge in at least two of the following domains: payments, cash management, customer touchpoints, customer onboarding & AML, digital workflow, and data warehouse & analytics.

Professional certification in TOGAF and cloud solution architect or similar is highly desirable. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
