**About the role**
Service Technician for airside equipment maintenance and servicing. He will be required to perform maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting for all types of commercial chilled water units, light commercial VRV or VRF units and residential DX units.
**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for:
+ Involve in depot-based work, site servicing, repairing and setting up/installation (including delivering and collecting)
+ Perform troubleshooting and recommend repairs for chillers/airside/heavy/applied
+ Perform monthly routine service for chillers/airside/heavy/applied under service agreement
+ Liaise with customers on maintenance/shutdown and repair schedule

**About the role**

+ Works under immediate supervision to perform on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing of equipment to meet customer requirements.
+ Uses detailed company guidelines to assist with installation, testing, servicing and repairing of basic equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements.
+ Uses detailed company guidelines to perform basic on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
+ Assists with inspecting equipment on a regular basis.
+ Assists with maintenance of equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests and submits weekly reports summarizing these activities.
+ Perform 24/7 standby duty (rostered) for complaint and breakdown.

This includes air-cooled and water-cooled systems from 10 RT to 600 RT; various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, spot coolers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for:
+ Maintain, service, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and clean Carrier owned HVAC equipment and related products in the workshop and various sites throughout Singapore and across Asia when required. This includes air-cooled and water-cooled systems from 10 RT to 600 RT; various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, spot coolers.
+ Must be able to lift and manipulate objects of up to 20kg occasionally.
+ Ensure all PPE is worn appropriately as work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions with exposure to outdoor temperature variations, noise, vibrations, gas or fumes, grease, cleaning solvents, degreasing agents, machinery and its moving parts, odors, and dust particles.
+ Maintain accurate records for orders and inventory counts.
+ Use power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment.
+ Communicate in a professional manner with co-employees, subcontractors, and customers.
+ Perform other duties as needed, including general maintenance, cleaning, lifting, organizing, and general inventory counts.

+ Possess a valid class 3 driver's license.
