The Technical Project Manager, or known as Engineering Delivery Manager within Thales, is responsible for leading the project team and delivering the project within committed budgets, schedules, quality and performance for successful bids and projects delivery. The candidate coordinates and monitors the implementation of all engineering tasks throughout the whole life cycle of a bid/project.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure engineering activities are well managed within constraints of bids/projects, approved architecture, design policy, contracts, and company quality requirements.
- Lead collaborative discussion and co-engineering between internal teams, vendors and customers to analyse, prioritise and validate stakeholders' requirements.
- Ensure that engineering scope, plans and activities satisfy customer requirements, and are delivered on time, on budget and with the required quality.
- Work closely with Design Authority to oversee and approve the outcome of evaluation studies on design alternatives, and to provide advice to both the customer and internal technical teams.
