Get to Know the Role
As a Senior Technical Program Manager Leader, you will help shape and drive high-impact, cross-company initiatives that solve complex and often ambiguous challenges. You'll lead large-scale product and technology programs end to end—strategically planning, executing, and aligning them with Grab's broader goals.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, building relationships and influencing organisational practices at scale. You will lead a team of Technical Program Managers, focused on accelerating impact, streamlining execution, driving prioritisation, and eliminating inefficiencies.
Beyond program delivery, you'll also contribute to Grab's broader technical strategy—making key decisions that fuel innovation and long-term growth.
You will report to the Head of Technical Program Management.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Drive complex, company-wide programs with ambiguous scopes and high impact, ensuring strategic agreement and customer-centricity.
- Manage roadmaps and execution across multiple teams, tracking progress, adapting plans, and mitigating risks.
- Demonstrate deep technical and domain expertise, contributing to product strategy and Grab's broader technical direction.
- Influence cross-team priorities, including input on resource planning and headcount budgeting.
- Provide expertise on technical design and participate in strategic product discussions.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, advising on organizational practices and resolving cross-functional tensions.
- Communicate by presenting problems, solutions, and trade-offs in a clear and collaborative manner to foster understanding, influence decisions, and achieve agreement.
- Lead process innovation, designing and implementing scalable ways of working across tech teams.
- Automate and refine workflows to improve program delivery efficiency and throughput.
- Coach TPM talent, mentor peers, shape the TPM discipline, and improve in hiring and performance standards.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 10+ years of experience managing Agile software projects, with experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs.
- 3+ years of experience managing a team.
- A project delivery or technical leadership background which will allow you to succeed in Grab's dynamic and diversity.
- Experience in handle leadership stakeholders, cross functional teams.
- Enjoy autonomy and self-decision making process.
- Expertise in process design leadership, driving scalable ways of working and introducing innovative practices.
- Program delivery with a technical leadership background in different Cloud Product suites such as AWS/Azure/GCP, etc.
- Experience leading a team of Senior TPMs in fulfilling organisational.
- Ability to decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions, without having to rely on your leaders or other stakeholders.
- Familiar working with teams not co-located.

Get to Know the Role
As Senior TPM Leader for the Grab Financials Team, you will work in managing multiple programs to deliver features that touch the everyday lives of millions of customers across southeast asia through Grab.
This role is an Individual Contributor role, and will report to the Head of Technical Program Management.
You will be onsite at Grab One-North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Drive roadmap planning and prioritization discussion with other functional leaders.
- Provide advice or inputs on large complex issues related to Tech, Business, and Product.
- Manage a portfolio of projects as an advisor, and you will own delivery of 1-2 large cross-org programs.
- Facilitate Technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation details and remove blockers for the team.
- Partner with stakeholders to define and drive program timelines, and milestones, track & report progress, and resolve impediments.
- Continuously find ways to help teams and the organization improve how they deliver outcomes.
- Manage cross-functional communication to ensure that all business and technical stakeholders' needs are aligned and demonstrate exceptional judgment in handling executive-level escalations.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Project/Program delivery with a strong technical leadership background in various Cloud Product suites in AWS/GCP etc.
- An understanding of Agile is desirable but not essential.
- Experience decomposing complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions, with full responsibility and working with senior executives and cross-functional teams to successfully navigate complexities and ensure project deliverables are achieved.
- Experience advising on technical solutioning when needed.
- Experience working with teams not co-located.
- Experience ranging from 12-18 years in Technical Program Management or a similar technical leadership role in the Tech Industry.
- Experienced in seamlessly managing complex, cross-functional portfolio/programs, and leading all aspects of assigned program delivery.
- Experience leading technical and business discussions/reviews for complex programs and projects within the portfolio, and bring business and technical judgement to decisions made across groups.
- Experienced in driving best practices across multiple disciplines to improve improve team responsiveness.
- Experience defining how to lead portfolio/programs and identify opportunities to enhance the process using a data-driven approach.
