This is a contract based remote role for Senior Technical Instructors
The Senior Technical Instructors will be responsible for training, recording, developing and facilitating technical training programs, identifying training needs, and implementing effective training solutions.
On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Technical Instructor will create instructional materials, deliver engaging technical training sessions, and assess the learning outcomes of trainees.
Additionally, they will collaborate with schools, colleges and other departments to ensure the training requirements are aligned with industry technical roadmap goals and standards in ASEAN region.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
LKS is looking for a highly experienced technical engineer to join its team of technical trainers to support ICOS training. The instructor will be responsible to engage in various training and development activities with senior instructors, NPI engineers, manufacturing engineers and PSO team members. The instructor is expected to master the technical know-how of the assigned tools, develop training material, create training plans, validate service documentation/procedures and deliver well-managed training to field engineers.
Detailed responsibilities include:
o Develop and deliver technical training on service, maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
o Use the combination of product technical skills and training skills together to deliver high-quality service training to KLA field service engineers, technical support engineers, and install engineers and external customers.
o Participate in tool building, manufacturing, field support, upgrades, installs, and other technical activities to master the technical know-how on the assigned product. Maintain a high level of technical skills and stay up to date on new product changes and updates.
o Independently conduct and lead the review meetings and discussions with subject matter experts to define milestones, deliverables, and training plans.
o Lead the assigned training projects; conduct reviews with stakeholders; provide regular updates to the stakeholders and functional groups; assess risks and actions; assesses efforts, time and resource requirements; maintains action trackers and project documentation.
o Review engineering documentation, procedures, and specifications. Capture technical information into training documents. Develop well-organized training content and videos most appropriate to the target audience and create appropriate certification plans.
o Learn and use new software and tools to develop high-quality videos, remote training, web-based modules, augment reality models and simulations to deliver highly engaging learning experiences.
o Fully maintain the assigned tools or equipment in the best possible conditions all the time. Performs regular health checks, preventive and corrective maintenance and upgrades.
o Follow and apply standard training design and development best practices, formats and templates.
o Review and validate service procedures on the tool. Assess the need to update documentation. Monitors the errors, mistakes, changes requested. Provide corrective feedback to technical writers and drive implementation of the changes in the documentation quickly.
Minimum Qualifications
o An engineering degree in optical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
o Minimum 5-10 years of in-depth technical experience on KLA inspection or metrology equipment.
o Preferred experience on ICOS products (CI/Zeta). Experience on any of the W2T ICOS tools will be a plus. Experience on other inspection equipment backed by in-depth manufacturing or service experience will be considered.
o Proven track record of supporting a range of install, service, tool building, manufacturing or technical support activities on KLA tools.
o Experience in preparing training curricula and delivering technical training.
o Prior experience in conducting or supporting technical training, formally or informally, or mentoring junior engineers on KLA or other semiconductor tools will be a plus.
o Strong written and verbal English language skills.
o Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate comfortably with international audience
o Demonstrated strong documentation skills and ability to capture the technical knowledge and discussions on the paper to develop systematic training material.
o Ability to decipher a range of technical sources like manufacturing or engineering documentation, procedures and specifications to develop highly organized training material.

What you'll be working on
You'll enable partners and customers across the region through training, education, and event participation. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director of Global Training and will play a critical role in accelerating adoption of Dante across Southeast Asia.
Unlike other regional training roles, this position will extend beyond delivering Dante Certification courses. It will support customer and partner enablement, collaborate with sales and marketing, and represent Audinate at regional tradeshows and events.

- Familiarity with creating and delivering online training content.
- Understanding of emerging technologies including virtualization and cloud-based workflows is desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are highly desirable

What you'll be working on
You'll enable partners and customers across the region through training, education, and event participation. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director of Global Training and will play a critical role in accelerating adoption of Dante across Southeast Asia.
Unlike other regional training roles, this position will extend beyond delivering Dante Certification courses. It will support customer and partner enablement, collaborate with sales and marketing, and represent Audinate at regional tradeshows and events.

Role Summary
The Technical Training Developer – Multimedia Focus is a creative and technical expert responsible for producing high-quality multimedia training content for the semiconductor industry. This role emphasizes video production, script development, and studio operations to support global training initiatives for field service engineers and technical staff. The developer will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and training leads to transform complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible, and scalable learning
Key Responsibilities
Multimedia Production & Studio Management
Lead the end-to-end production of training videos, including:
Scriptwriting and storyboarding
- Directing and filming technical demonstrations
- Editing and post-production (color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics)
- Manage the training video studio, including lighting, sound, camera equipment, and green screen setups.
- Maintain a library of reusable multimedia assets and templates for consistent branding and instructional quality.
Scriptwriting & Instructional Storytelling
- Collaborate with SMEs and instructional designers to write clear, technically accurate, and engaging scripts.
- Translate complex engineering procedures into compelling visual narratives.
- Apply storytelling techniques to enhance learner engagement and retention.
Software & Tools Expertise
Operate and maintain advanced multimedia tools such as:
Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition
- Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond
- OBS Studio, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro (as needed)
- Use screen capture and animation tools to create tutorials and simulations.
Training Content Integration
- Integrate multimedia content into LMS platforms (e.g., SumTotal), SharePoint, and other knowledge systems.
- Ensure content is accessible, version-controlled, and aligned with KLA's Product Lifecycle (PLC) and training standards.
- Support localization and subtitling efforts for global audiences.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct usability testing and gather learner feedback to improve content effectiveness.
- Track training KPIs and analytics to assess impact and identify areas for enhancement.
- Stay current with trends in multimedia learning, instructional technology, and adult learning theory.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Film, Instructional Design, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in video production and multimedia content development, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing, scriptwriting, and instructional storytelling.
Experience working in or supporting training for the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry is a plus.
Strong written and verbal English language skills.
- Familiarity with semiconductor tools and service environments (e.g., Inspection & metrology systems).
- Ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end, including planning, monitoring, and change management and meet tight deadlines in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as R&D, support, and manufacturing.
- Commitment to continuous learning and familiarity with training platforms and methodologies.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work with people from diverse cultures.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and localization best practices.
