Key Responsibilities:As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Perform troubleshooting and give recommendations for repairs for Chillers, Cooling Towers & Pumps under service agreement.
- Perform recommended repairs for the Chillers, Cooling Towers & Pumps under service agreement.
- Liaise with customer technicians on maintenance/repair schedule.
- Work closely with subcontractors to perform repair works.
- Perform 24/7 standby duty (rostered) for complaint and breakdown.
- Ensure safety procedures and conduct during service or repairs.

Job DescriptionReporting to the Service Supervisor, in this role you will be part of a National team of Field Service Engineers providing a prompt and effective service to customers within the Water, Power, Petrochemical and other associated Industries.
In this role you will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the field, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaption of components, pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical site visit reports for each job.
This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically for troubleshooting issues and has the willingness to travel.
Qualifications- Formal Mechanical or Electrical qualifications
- Experience post study in a practical engineering environment, preferably in a field-based role.
- Proficient Microsoft Office user i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
- Required to attend training courses to attain however not limited to Confined Space, Working at Heights, and First Aid Competence. There will also be a requirement to carry out customer inductions, medicals and inoculations.
- Able and willing to meet an extensive travel commitment. A full valid driver’s license is required.
- Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems
- Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools

- Field Visits: Regularly visit assigned locations to monitor the condition of marketing materials and ensure they are correctly positioned and well-maintained. Identify and report any issues with placement or condition and promptly take action to resolve them.
- Client & Partner Relations: Act as the point of contact between the company and clients for collateral-related needs. Address concerns, gather feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Track the inventory of Fave assets and ensure that there is always sufficient stock available for deployment. Coordinate with internal teams for restocking and replenishment when needed.
