About the Role
We are hiring a Field Service & Sales Engineer to be based in Singapore. This hybrid role involves on-site commissioning and servicing of water treatment systems, coupled with aftermarket sales responsibilities. You will work closely with global clients to ensure system performance and promote ongoing service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Operations (Approx. 70%)
- Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain high-purity water systems (e.g. RO, ultrafiltration, vapor compression stills).
- Diagnose faults in pumps, valves, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Perform hands-on repairs and generate technical reports.
- Operate and support mechanical/electrical systems on-site.
- Conduct client training and provide feedback to engineering teams.
- Promote and manage service contract renewals and spare parts sales.
- Prepare quotations, track orders, and manage inventory using HubSpot CRM.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and visits.
- Respond to aftersales queries and occasional out-of-hours support needs.

RoleThe Field Service Engineer is responsible for Compliance & Safety, Installation/Commissioning, Maintenance/Repairs, Technical Support and Reporting.
This position reports to the Area Service Manager, Singapore and is part of the ASEAN Equipment Services Team and will be an on-site role.
What you will do- Responsible for on-site installation, qualification, commissioning, repair and planned maintenance for Cytiva’s equipment.
- Providing quality services as per company’s service guidelines and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set forth in your team, and adhere to company health and safety guidelines.
- Working closely with service sales in preparing proposals/recommendations to customers.
- Timely and proper input of services performed in the company’s database (CRM).

- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience preferably in the Life Sciences or Biotech industry with a strong background in engineering. Automation experience/knowledge is a plus.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other ASEAN language is a plus.

- Perform on-site support to fix troubles when the remote troubleshooting does not work well.

- Customer support/field service experience is desired.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skill in English and preferably Mandarin.
- Advanced skill in presentation and in dealing with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Semiconductor or Flat Panel Display (FPD) industry.
- Competent in full Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP systems such as MS Dynamics or SAP is an advantage.
