Discovering the role

The Generator SME will be responsible for being the emergency and back-up generator system operations and maintenance expert, as well as fire alarm safety system. The candidate will need to be experienced in all aspects of generator theory, operations and maintenance of the complete generator system and have a working knowledge of electrical distribution and general mechanical systems. Generator Subject Matter Expert Responsibilities:

• Serve as technical/consultative resource for Emergency Generators and supporting equipment, Fire Detection and Alarm System and the Fire Protection System with an emphasis on practical/field application
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain generators, all associated fuel systems, Fire Detection and Alarm System and Fire Protection System
• Assist in authoring processes and procedures
