You Will

You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information & Communication Technologies (ICT), Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and supporting complex IT systems projects and/or large ICT solutions as an Enterprise Architect.
  • Strong understanding of on-premise ICT architectures, integration methods, and best practices for building scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Familiarity with government/enterprise-related practices such as IM8, GCC 2.0, GCC+, HCC, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of web security protocols including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SSL/TLS, along with best practices for authentication, authorization, and data privacy to maintain secure and resilient web solutions.

About The Job

As part of our Digital, Data and Technology practice expansion we are seeking an Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in financial services (banking, payments, insurance & or wealth) technology to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Architecture Development
    • Define and implement enterprise architecture frameworks and target state architectures, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
    • Design microservices architectures, API ecosystems, and event-driven systems.
    • Evaluate SaaS/PaaS vs. custom-built solutions for financial institutions.
    • Drive data strategy, enabling efficient real-time analytics and AI/ML adoption.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture within the financial services industry, fintechs or consultancies / SI’s.
  • Experience with core banking, digital payments, wealth management, and risk platforms.
  • Experience in domain-driven, event-driven architecture and integration patterns
  • Experience in Data & Analytics system design and architecture
  • Experience with API design, development and open standards to drives distributed architectures preferably with a background in one of Java, C# or C++.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and API-led architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, IT governance, and cloud security best practices.
  • Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure technology platforms and solutions adhere to architecture standards for new initiatives and ongoing changes as part of architecture workgroup solution review and change approval for application deployment
  • Ensure architecture standards, guidelines, design patterns and reference models are well-defined and socialized for solution community, keeping in line with industry and technology best practices and regulations.
  • Ensure regular administration of architecture review and technology governance forums, including proper maintenance of records, facilitation of resolution of feedback, tracking and follow up for effective closure of design gaps and technical debts.
  • Promote fit-for-purpose, efficiency and improvements in systems resiliency, flexibility, interoperability, and overall futureproofing of the architecture, including evaluation and introduction of enterprise / shared solutions and regularly review / rationalize existing solutions, collaborating with application teams and business.
  • Create and maintain architecture blueprint and roadmap to represent Income’s business and technology strategy, goals, and capabilities required by domain.
  • Ensure collaboration to maintain up-to-date architecture and solution artefacts, including but not limited to those related to, application services, technology stack, data, integration, infrastructure / deployment, security and alignment to business.
  • Conduct research, curation, and sharing of relevant technological trends / thought leaderships.
  • Create and maintain communication materials for stakeholders, technology forums, and community engagements.
  • Collaborate and contribute to tactical design solutions, troubleshooting, and corrective measures to address systems’ gaps.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in relevant enterprise architecture governance, solution architecture, software design and integration, and/or technology consulting.
  • Strong proficiency and knowledge in architecture development, technology delivery and management, cyber security, and technology risk and compliance.
  • Deep understanding in technology best practices for cloud, microservices, container platforms, API design and management, and event-driven architecture
  • Deep understanding in technology stack, including enterprise Java and spring boot, front-end technologies and framework (such as ReactJS), mobile application development, middleware and integration technologies, databases, security solutions, and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure Cloud)
  • Strong proficiency and knowledge in either or combination of the following areas:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
  • Proactive and effective team player, with strong communication skills, good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT architecture, strategic planning, solution design and presales. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for proposing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving technological innovation. This role specifically focuses on creating enterprise-level solutions for BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) customers, leveraging various technologies and solutions available in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring it aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with BFSI stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of complex IT systems and infrastructure tailored to BFSI needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the company's IT capabilities, with a focus on BFSI solutions.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of IT systems.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the IT landscape to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for enterprise architecture, including diagrams, models, and standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.

Qualifications

  • Masters / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferably 12-15 years of experience in the BFSI industry.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect / Presales or in a similar role within an IT solutions company.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • Experience in creating solutions for BFSI customers.
  • Good technical skills and a wide understanding of various IT infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience with ITIL and infrastructure background.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications in TOGAF and PMP is a plus.

An opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to provide overall governance that ensures efficient, consistent and compliance execution of technology solutions.

Ideal candidate should have technical knowledge and skills in system architecture and solutioning, technology deployment and operations to ensure technology platforms and solutions adhere to architecture standards for new initiatives as well as ongoing changes.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information System;
  • Must have minimum 12 years of design and implementation experience in Enterprise Architecture Governance, Solution Architect, Distributed Applications, and Service Oriented Architectures ( SOA ) Frameworks;
  • Must have experience in designing, developing and deploying large, scalable production applications on Cloud / PaaS platforms and Containers ( such as AWS, Google and Azure );
  • Deep understanding of technology stack including Enterprise Java and Spring Boot, front-end technologies and framework (such as ReactJS), mobile application development, middleware and integration technologies;
  • Experience in overall governance of IT solutions, framework, policies, processes, and rules that ensure effective, consistent, and compliant execution of technology solutions;
  • Proficient in conceptualizing and deriving common architectural designs across multiple services;
  • Highly conversant in architectural concepts, principles and SOA governance practice;

Desired Skill-set

  • Certified in TOGAF / ITIL / COBIT / CISA;
  • Experience in Financial / Insurance Industry and relevant regulatory requirements, such as MAS TRM Guidelines.
  • Solid Agile development experience and has experience architecting large enterprise-wide systems;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate architecture methods, concepts, standards and policies;
  • Customer-centric individual, possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work well with cross-organizational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide solution architecture for organization's digital transformation journey, to set the direction and deliver the Enterprise Architecture (EA) future state;
  • Conceptualize, Architect, Design Digital Solutions & Research on current state, identify the gaps and map out the to-be state and roadmap;
  • Provide guidance in establishing architecture policies, standards, processes and platform to drive scalability and proposed changes where required;
  • Developing and communicating guiding principles, governance structures related to the selection of architectural components;
  • Ensure technology platforms and solutions adhere to architecture standards for new initiatives and ongoing changes;
  • Overall architecture governance, including but not limited to security, quality, compliance and data;
  • Ensure regular administration of architecture review including facilitation of resolution of feedback, tracking and follow up for effective closure of design gap;
  • Ensuring consistency in design, principles are maintained and supported;
  • Provide direction and advise on organization-wide technology changes in the development of enterprise business architecture vision and related IT solutions;
  • Partner with business, product and technology team in the delivery of solutions and results through technology enhancements, development and implementation;
  • Guide application operations, propose new solution methodologies and mentor the team raising the collective technical competencies;
  • Ensure collaboration to maintain up-to-date architecture and solution artefacts as well as communication materials for stakeholders, technology forums, and community engagements.
