The successful Housekeeping Runner will be responsible for the efficient organisation and distribution of clean linen and amenities within the hotel premises. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure seamless operations by performing all tasks in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Conduct quality checks on clean linen received, rejecting any items that do not meet the required standards.
- Issue clean linen to outlets, banquets, and spa as per requisition.
- Record linen transactions accurately, highlighting any shortages or issues.
- Wash and press small linen items such as cocktail napkins and tray cloths.
- Deliver clean linen to housekeeping pantries.
- Assist guests with housekeeping-related requests, excluding suite cleaning.
- Support Rooms operations by hanging curtains, delivering ionizers, and assisting room attendants.
- Assist in Laundry/Uniform Room operations as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Primary school education.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with multi-cultural awareness.
