is looking for a Freelance Health and Performance Coach (IEC) to join the team. The Freelance Health and Performance Coach (IEC) is a key member of the UWCSEA Sports & Activities Team.
Reporting to the Health and Performance Coordinator, the incumbent will implement, deliver and monitor a progressive, expansive Health and Performance Programme along with associated financial and communication support systems.
Main Responsibilities
Plan and articulate a progressive, age-appropriate Health and Performance conditioning Curriculum.
Develop and implement a Parent Exercise & Fitness Programme; Develop and implement an Athletic Performance Programme. Including athlete data testing systems, strength & conditioning programmes, injury prevention and recovery.
Collaborate with and provide support and in service training for: the Physical Education Dept; Aquatic, Tennis, Gymnastics, Basketball & Climbing depts; Community Sports Activities dept; High, Middle and Junior School Competitive Sports Depts; the Parent Association; the Staff Association and; the Boarding House.
Develop & coordinate student, target setting and feedback systems and practices; Lead student, staff and parent personal and group fitness, strength & conditioning sessions.
Develop and manage the vision & content of the Exercise, Strength & Conditioning website.
Implement and monitor policies for safe use and monitoring of Fitness Centre equipment & resources.
Manage membership of and access to the UWCSEA Exercise, Strength & Conditioning Centre.
Assist teachers, coaches and the P.E & sports assistant team to set and break down facilities & equipment for Days of Sports, local and International sports tournaments
Person Specifications
Bachelor’s Degree ideal, minimum Diploma with additional Strength & Conditioning Qualifications.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position working in Schools, Colleges, Professional Sports Clubs and/or the Fitness industry.
Strong knowledge of contemporary youth and adult general exercise & fitness, athletic performance, strength & conditioning practice and the practical ability to run a wide variety of related courses.
A proactive worker who seeks opportunities to improve, solves problems, faces challenges and stretches capabilities.
An enthusiastic team contributor who supports others, promotes new ideas and cooperates across teams.
A customer focussed attitude with an ability to design solutions for a variety of needs.
Personally physically fit and a role model to Fitness Centre users.
Excellent English (written and spoken) and the ability to communicate confidently and respectfully with International School students, parents and staff.
Flexibility to work during weekends and evenings.

The Singapore Sports School (SSP) is a specialised independent school dedicated to providing the optimal sports development and academic learning of our talented student-athletes anchored on building strong character qualities of an athlete. With a team of dedicated teachers and experienced sports coaches and sports scientists, we offer an ideal daily training environment for our aspiring national athletes to achieve their dreams.

We are seeking a suitable candidate to fill the full-time position of the Coach/Assistant Coach, Swimming Academy and National Youth Training Centre, in close partnership with the national sport association for swimming, Singapore Aquatics (SAQ), to prepare our developmental student-athletes for national team representation at international competitions and Major Games (Southeast Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, World Championships and Olympic Games).

You will be responsible for planning and implementing the training and competition plans for student-athletes towards high performance in sports, based on long-term athlete development principles, under the guidance of the Head Coach, Swimming Academy and National Youth Training Centre. You will keep track of the progress of each student-athlete and provide regular updates to the Swimming Academy, the student-athletes and their parents. You will work with the Head Coach, General Manager, fellow coaches, school staff and external stakeholders to achieve the sporting goals and holistic development of the student-athletes under your care.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of competitive coaching experience with elite and developmental youth athletes.
• Possess the equivalent of the SG-Coach Level 1 (Theory and Technical) and/or an international swimming coaching qualification recognised by World Aquatics.
• Fulfil requirements to obtain National Registry of Coaches (NROC) membership and Ministry of Education (MOE) registration.
• Display good understanding of sports science as applied to elite youth sports based on long term athlete development principles.
• Keen understanding of the quality Daily Training Environment needed for the development of student-athletes.
• Competent in value inculcation and character development for student-athletes.
• Good planning, administrative and organisational skills, with progressive knowledge, skills and attitude towards the use of data analytics in the training program.
• Able to work as part of a team while showing initiative and independence in delivering the assigned duties.
• Able to communicate well in English with student-athletes and stakeholders.

Job Description:

A boutique adult-focused music school in Singapore, located near Chinatown MRT. We specialise in Mandarin pop singing and are looking for passionate vocal or pop singing coaches to join us — full-time .

No teaching experience is required — we welcome skilled singers with strong communication skills who are willing to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities:

• Teach one-on-one and small group vocal / pop singing classes (mostly adult students)
• Adapt lessons to each student's vocal needs, goals and preferred songs
• Most students sing Mandarin pop — familiarity with Mandopop is preferred
• Track student progress and provide helpful, personalised feedback
• Support occasional student performances or recitals
• Build positive rapport with students and contribute to a warm learning environment

What We're Looking For:

• Strong singing ability (good pitch, rhythm and expression)
• Familiarity with Mandarin pop music, or willingness to learn
• Basic piano/guitar accompaniment is helpful but not required
• Patient, friendly, and able to communicate clearly
• Passion for helping adult learners grow in confidence and skill
• Weekend availability is required (weekday rest days)
