The team
You will be member of the Income Tax team (within the Securities Team) ,responsible for managing and accounting coupons, reimbursements, as well as monitoring operations until their settlement.
The Income tax team is also responsible for the content of tax documents , the recovery of withholding at source under double taxation agreements between countries, and reporting in the context of QI and FFI agreements.
But here’s the exciting part: you’ll be helping launch this activity from scratch in Lisbon , working closely with our experienced team in Switzerland .
The role will be based in Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Dom João II 43, Lisboa, Portugal).
Your responsibilities
- Controls and accounting of coupons and reimbursements on awarded markets
- Management of optional dividends including mailing and instructions for custodians
- Monitoring of operations, follow-ups with our custodians, tracking of cash break
- Annual review for US tax reclassification
- Control of proper application of taxes charged to clients
- Contacts with bank clients
- Tax reconciliations of operations to ensure proper fiscal reports production for our clients banks
