  • Manage and oversee indirect tax projects and develop strategic and operational implementation work plans to ensure new service or country launches are tax compliant and timely
  • Manage business stakeholders and coordinate with external teams for effective delivery of the project
  • Solid understanding of how indirect taxes affect in-house financial applications and systems, contribute to the long-term vision of the tax team
  • Oversee and support team members working on reconciliation of revenue, purchase, output VAT/GST and input VAT/GST with financials
  • Coordinate with external advisors on various indirect tax issues, obtain tax advice as necessary and support team members with accurate and timely indirect tax reporting and tax payment
  • Responsible for indirect tax awareness and appreciation within the client group

DESIGNATION : Tax Specialist (Transfer Pricing)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Works directly with affiliated company's Transfer Pricing Team and formulate new or improve existing REC processes to align various REC teams to meet affiliated company's Transfer Pricing guidelines and requirements. This includes engaging and managing external TP consultants to determine appropriate:

  • IntraGroup selling prices of products

  • IntraGroup interest rates for loans & borrowings

  • IntraGroup cross charging of management fees and royalties etc.4) All other IntraGroup transactions

  • Optimization of Transfer Pricing between Corporate Taxes and Custom Duties within regulatory parameters to achieve the best financial outcome

The role is required to lead the preparation and coordination of all transfer pricing documentation at the group level and at each local entity level (Singapore/US/Germany/China/Norway/Japan.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in accountancy or taxation
  • Certified CPA / Chartered Accountant is preferred
