We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manager to lead our System Engineering Team. In this role, you will oversee the design, development, deployment and maintenance of complex systems, ensuring they meet business needs and technical requirements. You will manage a team of System Engineers, coordinating with various stakeholders, and driving best practices in system engineering processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of System Engineers to deliver high-quality systems solutions.
- Plan, prioritise and oversee system engineering projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, hardware engineering, system integration, and operations.
- Coach team members for system architecture/solutioning, technical requirements definition, and integration strategies by putting in place best practices.
- Support requirement gathering, architecture design, costing at the bid/presales stage.
- Support the design, implementation, testing and validation of systems during the bid/presales and project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage team resources including the hiring, new hire onboarding and continuous improvement.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation plans throughout project lifecycles.
- Promote continuous improvement through process optimization and adoption of best practices.
- Communicate project status, technical issues and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in system engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience in working with customers such as government agencies and airports, is mandatory
- Strong understanding of system engineering principles, methodologies and tools.
- Experience with system design, modeling, simulation, integration, and testing.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
