**Key Responsibilities**
Lead and/or develop and execute unusually complex projects having a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design, which are leading edge of system functionality or technology; spearhead research and development of new technologies as appropriate; and work with Marketing to insure the meet market requirement specifications (MRS) is valid and attainable.
Use systems analysis to create a diagram in order to review specifications, influence product engineering and software to utilize system engineering concepts for new, unusually complex designs and ongoing engineering improvements, and supervise tests.
Interface with other business units to workout design, systems architecture development and integration issues by utilizing concepts from other business units or influencing other business units to utilize concepts.
Problem identification and troubleshooting unusually complex engineering problems, which are on leading edge of technology or system functionality.
Review system engineering test results and architecture development ideas. Influence and communicate change in adjusting design direction as necessary.
Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
Work with vendors to develop new competitive products. Takes business issues and architecture development findings into consideration, and works to gain acceptance and use across business units. Develop metrics that aid in the decision making for future business opportunities
Develop and assure that the requirements of the systems architecture development process are met.

- Explores data-centric AI for context-enriched data analysis for more efficient and effective risks control and action planning; By doing so, trends analysis across risk dimensions is performed to help provide meaningful and useful insights
- Reviews technology risks related to Enterprise Architecture (EA) taking into perspective the architecture design with respect to business, application, data and technology architectures
- Challenges the reasonability of existing risks & controls specific to Enterprise Architecture (EA) and makes recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and develop technology risk insights (such as IT audit thematic and trend analysis) to be presented at forums (such as technology risk forums, etc.).
- Engage and collaborate with technology stakeholders to proactively identify risks at a detailed and technical level and ensure that IT is effectively driving remediation activities and to continuously improve IT risk posture.
- Proactive in forging effective engagement with key stakeholders relating to risk & control matters.
- Manage technology risk initiatives and target reviews.
- At least 10-15 years of experience preferably with exposure on IT and risk management (including technology).
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing and advising on technology risks.
- Deep understanding in solutioning system architecture of an end-to-end core banking systems.
- Experience as a risk manager with at least 5-10 years of data analytics background and exposure in a financial institution
- With exposure to data analytics workbench, data mining & quality tools for application delivery insights, data visualisation, machine learning for analytics and dashboards, business intelligence (BI) report automation, running analytical models
- Has exposure to Enterprise Architecture (EA) principles and frameworks
- Experience on evaluation of risks related to business architecture, data, technology and application architecture
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, interpersonal and operating skills to effectively drive the IT Risk agenda with IT functions.
- Strong communication skills at all levels -- able to effectively communicate with IT and senior management, as well as line staff to drive IT risk mitigation initiatives and other IT risk management related areas.

- Experience in driving IT risk management in digital age a plus.
