Systems Design Expert

As a Systems Design Expert, you will play a key role in the design and development of complex systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing design

• Responsible for optical alignment, optical system integration, test and characterization
• Define system and subsystem specifications
• Document manufacturing procedures
• Provide training to manufacturing engineers and technicians
• Derive and manage detailed manufacturing requirements and introduction plans in the design concept phase
• Cover all aspects of the manufacturing introduction, including design for manufacturability, quality, tooling, training, process documentation, product structure, build process optimization and facilities requirements

• Experience in optical alignment and characterization
• Familiar with Python and JavaScript would be a plus
• Extensive hands-on experience in building/testing optical inspection or metrology tools
• Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting skills in optics, and opto-mechanics

Summary of the role: Your role would be to design solutions aligned with client requirements which involves software configuration, hardware setup, and integration.

Responsibilities

• · *Support Design of Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA), Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Distribution Management Systems (DMS) Solutions based on client's requirements
• · Responsible for software configuration using IBM Rational Clear Case and GIT version control;
• · Set-up and installation of UNIX/LINUX/WINDOWS servers, workstations, hardware, and networks (routers, switches, IP addresses);
• · Assist in the preparation of tender which includes but not limited to: preparation of technical documents, setting up of demonstration servers and laptops

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced field service technician to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing system designs, reviewing technical specifications, and preparing material submissions and technical drawings.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze system designs and review technical specifications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare material submissions and technical drawings in compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress and oversee subcontractors/internal workers to ensure timely completion.
• Manage and control work progress, schedules, safety, and quality standards to meet client expectations.
• Perform system testing and commissioning, obtaining customer approval upon completion.
• Submit verification reports for completed work and maintain accurate records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in field technician roles or similar positions.
• Strong understanding of system designs, technical specifications, and project management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software applications.
• Valid Class 3 driving license and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
