As an Environment & Sustainability Director, you will be responsible for developing new and expanded client and partner relationships to support growth of our E&S business. What you'll do
We're looking for an Environment & Sustainability Director to join our Asia team, preferably based in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur.
The role responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership, and deliver performance results which expand the APAC E&S Hub's team and client base in Asia aligned with the Hub's strategic action plans.
- Serve as a member of the APAC E&S Hub's core leadership team to drive profitable growth across the hub's service areas.
- Contribute to and support the development and implementation of the Hub's strategic business/action plans.
- Identify and develop new opportunities which leverage the Hub and broader Worley business's multi-disciplinary offering.
- Take an active leadership role in securing new business with new and existing clients including by developing and expanding client relationships that generate repeat business.
- Lead and contribute to preparation of thought leadership pieces and other initiatives to improve Worley Consulting's market recognition.
- Active leadership role driving successful outcomes from the hub's BD activities including effective proposal preparation.
- Active leadership role driving strategic commercial arrangements (including MSAs and partnerships) which provide benefit to Worley whilst appropriately assessing and managing risk.
- Support, contribute and assist in the preparation of budgets.
- Actively contribute to the performance metrics of the E&S Hub including revenue generation, chargeability and increased GM performance.
- Manage/oversee large strategic projects or portfolios of work with key clients. Design and direct large programs/projects and multi-person project teams. Achieve client's expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Guide and contribute to project assignments, ensuring technical and service excellence, assurance and governance, using Worley methodologies, processes and tools.
- Support E&S Hub and service line leaders to grow the hub's delivery team through both hiring and consultant development.
- Support staff development, inspire and mentor personnel for overall success of the E&S Business.
- Work collaboratively with other service line leads and line managers to adequately resource growth/BD initiatives and project accountabilities.
- Build effective relationships with other Worley service lines and business units, including People, Finance, Digital , and Marketing functions in APAC and globally.
What you'll have
- Tertiary qualifications in appropriate discipline or equivalent.
- 15+ plus years relevant industry experience, including in a consulting environment.
- Passion and drive for a sustainable future and to support and foster industry change.
- Client facing, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful business growth.
- High impact business development skills including the ability to develop new client relationships, manage existing client relationships and win work for the group.
- Substantial experience in a consulting environment providing Environment and Sustainability services to the energy and resources sector.
- Experience in front-end project delivery and ideally extending across the full project life-cycle (engineering design, construction delivery, operations and closure).
- Able to work within and effectively lead small to large multi-disciplinary teams including information sharing and transfer.

- Experience in environmental management, ISO 14001 and Environmental Impact Assessments
- Experience in managing Ports andTerminals/ Warehouse/ Logistics/ Supply Chain relevant industry knowledge will be a plus
- Experience in development and execution of strategies, programs, standards, and policies
- Experience of regulatory stakeholder management
- Experience of team and consultant management
