The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the warehouse, including receiving and inspecting materials, counting quantities, labeling and storing items, picking and packing finished goods, and utilizing forklifts for loading and unloading transport vehicles.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Arkema as a Supply Chain Specialist. In this full-time position based in the Jurong Island, you will play a vital role in the company's manufacturing, transport and logistics operations. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing the company's production planning and scheduling processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning

  • Maintain detailed production schedules in SAP for big bags & bulk liquids,

  • Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of inventory to supply to sales/ transfer orders,

  • Work closely with site logistics to send in containers & isotanks to the plant for loading,

  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or changes in demand,

  • Optimize production efficiency while minimizing costs and waste.

Demand Planning

  • Review customer forecasts to develop accurate demand plans,

  • Collaborate with sales, and commercial teams to gather inputs for demand forecasting,

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or a related field
