The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for General Paper/Project Work
- Be part of the year-end Project Work assessment
- Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
- Evaluate and provide feedback on students' performance via assignments and assessments
- Monitor students' social development through counselling and working with parents
- Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the pastoral and cognitive needs of the students
- In-charge of at least one co-curricular activity and/or committee in addition to civics tutorship
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' teacher meetings and any other school-wide training events
- Any other duties assigned by the School
- A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline
- A Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is preferred
- Proficiency in the use of education technology or data analytics will be an advantage
- Comfortable with classroom and student management
- Passion to teach the age group of students from 13 to 18 years old
