Time commitment:
- We require part- and/or full- time students and recent University or Polytechnic graduates from October 2025 to April 2026.

Job responsibilities:
- Recruit and schedule participants, ensuring a positive and professional experience. You will make conduct support calls with participants and station on-site at any Lion Befrienders' branches to recruit senior participants. You will also support the participants to complete our survey forms, explain how to download/use our app and entering data into our database and any other duties. Coaching and transport reimbursement by MRT and buses will be provided.
- Provide warm, supportive interactions with seniors, building trust and engagement
- Collect high-quality research data that will directly inform new health interventions
Job requirements/competencies:
- Background in Nursing, Medicine, Health Sciences, Psychology, Gerontology, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, or related fields
- Able to speak local languages to reach out to seniors from different cultures and background

Job Summary
We are looking for a Research Assistant or Intern to support a clinical trial evaluating novel food-based nutritional interventions. The opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in clinical nutrition, biomedical research or translational food science. You will be involved in material preparation, data collection, reporting, and participant coordination, as well as supporting in vitro digestion experimentsthat help explore the mechanisms behind the intervention. The role gives an introduction to how clinical trials are designed, conducted and monitored, while also allowing you to get laboratory experience. Full training and supervision will be provided. The internship start date is flexible based on the candidate's availability.
Time Commitment
This internship is for a minimum period of 3 months. You can either work full-time or part-time basis with a minimum of 16 hours per week. We require 1 intern. The internship is expected to begin in October 2025, with the exact timing to be agreed based on the candidate's availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and organisation of materials and documents for the clinical trial
- Assist with data collection, sample tracking, and accurate documentation

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our research team on the project titled "An Integrated Multimodal Quantification Method to Designing Landscapes for Well-being".
This project aims to extend upon previously developed innovative methodologies for assessing urban green spaces for their human well-being potentials through the integration of various quantitative and qualitative research approaches. In this project, we intend to further improve on these methods with an eventual goal of guiding and informing the design of urban landscapes in a Singapore with a specific goal of maximising their benefits to human well-being.
We intend to achieve this through a multimodal approach with the help of our interdisciplinary research team comprising of experts from collaborating institutes which cover the technical aspects of computational modelling, brain-computer interface technologies as well as within NUS focusing on design and application from the lens of landscape architecture.
The research assistant to be hired will specifically be looking at high fidelity 3D environmental visualisations using platforms such as Unreal Engine, and perception and interaction of the virtual and actual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and Research Fellow (RF) in managing and executing the research project.
• Drive the area of the project looking at realistic landscape visualisations
• Assist in conducting literature reviews, data collection, and analysis using multimodal research methodologies.
• Assist in designing and implementing experiments related to landscape perception, human well-being, and environmental assessment.
