2. To train Facilities Management and Facilities Maintenance staff to have better technical skills and communication standards to deliver better service standards.

3. To assist the Director, HP&I and FM HOD in coordinating with other hospital staff in planning and executing projects such as Kaizens and green productivity projects (e.g. Clean and Green week and Earth Day) effectively.

4. To guide and counsel junior staff in both FM and outsourced Facilities Maintenance dept to be pro-active and efficient in carrying out maintenance and improvement works.

5. To work closely and supervise vendors, contractors and suppliers to complete maintenance work and projects.

7. To adopt best practices from other hospitals such as implementing cost effective, simpler and faster ways of carrying out maintenance work and daily operations.

8. To be able to organize, create and introduce new working methodologies such as scanning tools and newly endorsed construction methods and systems to further improve productivity and increase efficiency.

9. To lead Predictive, Preventive, Corrective and Breakdown Maintenance of equipment and building systems with outsourced Facilities Maintenance team.

(B) GENERAL

In addition to your teaching duties, you will carry out industry or consultancy projects to help you remain relevant in your profession and to evolving changes in industry, and maintain strong linkages with industry and schools. You will also have the opportunity to have industry attachments or experience on a regular basis to update your skills, knowledge and practices of your profession.


What we are looking for:

- At least 3 years relevant experience in Built Environment sector, especially in the Civil & Structural (C&S) or Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering.

- Experience in adoption of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), or BIM to Field in modern building projects.

Those with good and relevant experience can look forward to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development opportunities to leadership positions in the Colleges or Headquarters.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan and review the design of utility infrastructure projects from planning to implementation phases.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and review utility standards, processes, and feasibility studies.
