- Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team; coordinate closely with client's, consultants and sub-contractors to ensure that all the works carried out meet the desired quality/workmanship, specifications, code requirements and the projects are completed on time and within budget
- Manage and lead teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical work for accuracy and technical outcomes
- Oversee and manage consultant performance to ensure alignment with project timelines, design deliverables, and authority submission requirements for timely approvals
- Review and validate design drawings provided by consultants and specialists; propose alternative solutions where applicable and feasibility of construction
- Ensure all design works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and manage ICE meeting schedules and requirements.
- Oversee site work progress, monitor shop drawing progress and provide support to the construction team
- Resolve site issues related to design or changes required by Construction team, to ensure no delay affecting main program.
- Review and approve RFI & Site-Design Amendments with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure high-quality execution and timely completion of all construction and design activities
- Vast knowledge of Code Requirement
- Support cost control efforts by evaluating design alternatives and ensuring efficient resource use
- Possess a solid understanding of contractual provisions, including base scope, variation orders (VOs), and other key contract terms.
- Any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as may be assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as structural manager role. Experience in PPVC D&B projects is a plus
- Degree holder in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Able to interpret structural design from consultant
- Knowledge in rebar detailing as per structural code requirements
- Skill in Autocad & Revit is a plus
