Strength and Conditioning Coach
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our team. In this role, you will design and lead innovative fitness programs tailored to both athletes and general fitness clients. With a focus on improving strength, endurance, and overall performance, you will help individuals achieve their fitness goals while promoting injury prevention and lifelong wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Design and Implementation:
- Develop and implement individualized and group strength and conditioning programs for clients of all fitness levels, including CrossFit, Hyrox athletes, and general fitness enthusiasts.
- Adapt training plans to accommodate client progress, goals, and any physical limitations or injuries.
- Coaching and Instruction:
- Provide expert coaching on strength training techniques, functional movements, and conditioning exercises, ensuring safety and proper form.
- Lead engaging group classes and one-on-one sessions, inspiring clients to push their limits while maintaining a positive environment.
- Educate clients on topics such as injury prevention, recovery, and nutrition to enhance their overall fitness journey.
- Facility Management and Safety:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training facility that meets professional standards.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective operation of the facility.
- Stay current with industry trends, research, and certifications to continuously improve coaching methods and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in strength and conditioning, fitness coaching, or athletic performance training.
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, injury prevention, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills to work effectively with a wide range of clients.
- Relevant certifications (e.g.CrossFit Level 1 or higher) are strongly preferred.
- Passion for helping clients achieve their fitness goals in a supportive and professional environment.

Our integrated team of physiotherapists, strength coaches, and sports scientists is looking for a Youth Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead and elevate our youth performance programmes—while also supporting general population clients in building lifelong strength.

Who We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology or related field
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, ASCA, UKSCA) and NREP or NROC registered.
• At least 1–2 years of experience coaching youth athletes (ages 10–18) in individual or team settings.
• Strong understanding of long-term athletic development models, growth and maturation principles, and safe youth training practices.
• Able to coach foundational lifts and movement patterns to general population clients safely and effectively. Safesport educated or certified mandatory
• Excellent communicator with young athletes, parents, and adults alike
• Bonus: Experience in a multidisciplinary rehab or performance setting
What You Will Do
Primary: Youth Athlete Development
• Design and deliver strength and conditioning programmes for youth athletes across various sports
• Lead group and small group sessions, ensuring safety, progression, and engagement
• Educate youth and parents on training principles, injury prevention, recovery, and healthy habits
• Collaborate with physiotherapists to integrate rehab and performance plans for return-to-play
Secondary: General Population Coaching
• Coach adult clients in foundational strength and conditioning for health, fitness and injury prevention
• Modify programmes based on fitness level, injury history, and goals
• Support facility upkeep, client care, and programme development where needed
