Get to Know the Team
The Strategic Projects & Growth team oversees and grows the Singapore Mobility business (e.g., JustGrab, GrabCar, GrabCar Premium). This includes designing and implementing strategy around demand (passengers), supply (driver-partners), pricing and marketplace, while also undertaking product rollouts and special projects.
Get to Know the Role
You will report to the Manager, Strategic Projects & Growth. We are looking for someone possessing strong problem-solving and project management skills to join the team. Projects managed by the team often involve analysis using large datasets and deriving insights to formulate solutions.
The role will be onsite and based in the One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Support planning and analysis of high-impact strategic plans, including conducting research and data analysis (e.g. demand, supply, pricing), and identifying issues and solutions to optimize for business objectives (e.g. revenue / profit growth, service health)
- Provide project management support for strategic plans, involving skills such as project planning and coordination, communication and stakeholder management
- Work in a team to solve business-critical issues through rigorous analysis, big picture thinking with consideration for operational detail
- Execute on initiatives with attention to cross-functional requirements, collaborating with teams like Product, Regional Mobility Strategy, Partner Operations, Marketing / Comms, Public Affairs.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management or a related field
- 1+ years of relevant working experience in Consulting, Strategy, Tech, or Project Management roles (especially in tech companies / start ups)
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
- Willingness to pick up SQL (Python is a bonus)
- Experience conducting / presenting complex analyses, and managing stakeholders to deliver projects within budget and achieving desired outcomes.
- Willingness to work with a multi-disciplinary team to design creative solutions, and collaborate with them to execute on initiatives.
- Ability to pivot quickly from long-term thinking to immediate action tactical response

The Digital Transformation Cluster (DTC) is responsible for driving digital transformation projects across major economic sectors and ecosystems. The team works closely with public and private sectors to drive impactful digitalization projects, solving complex business-technology problems, involving business model transformation, innovative technology applications, and regulatory considerations.
We focus on project seeding and scoping, execution, and implementation to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve intended objectives, including targeted and widespread adoption. Current areas of focus for DTC include Extended Reality (XR), Digital Twin (DT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), and Digital Sustainability.
As part of the Strategic Digital Projects (SDP) team that focuses on XR, DT, and AI, you will:
Support IMDA’s vision in promoting and driving the early adoption of emerging technologies by enterprises and industries, playing a key role in prioritising value-driven innovative projects and driving future innovation efforts, working closely with both public and private sector partners.
Identify ecosystem and industry gaps in users and tech providers; develop and implement initiatives to help overcome these gaps, enabling technology deployment and adoption at scale by users from different industries.
Assess new technologies, build collaborative networks with technology providers, system integrators, and research institutes to develop innovative solutions that meet industry needs.
Scope, administer, and project manage deployment of use cases, implement strategies for commercialization and scale-up adoption, manage budgets, assess and monitor project outcomes, and recommend enhancements where necessary.
Plan and support communications and marketing efforts to build awareness and encourage adoption.
You would need to have:
Suitable educational qualification in a related field, with an understanding of the landscape and challenges faced by solution providers and adopters of emerging technologies such as XR, DT, and AI.
Good understanding of project execution and strong project management skills;
Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment, visualize outcomes, and provide clarity to stakeholders; and
Excellent verbal, written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
