Strategic Partner Manager
12 months contract
Responsibilities
Think creatively with prominent companies in the gaming industry to build sustainable and long-term partnerships by understanding their strategy and goals
Represent Facebook Play platform and provide thought leadership and perspectives in external meetings with partner executives
Own adoption of Facebook Play platform in game developers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, marketing, operations, and finance
Track and analyse and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships at scale
Use analysis and gaming industry expertise to source and develop new partner opportunities
Manage and consult existing partners on building up their success on Facebook Play platform
Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders both internally and externally
Minimum Qualifications
6+ year experiences in business development or account management
BS/BA in a highly quantitative field, such as Economics, Business, or equivalent experiences preferred
Experience working effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
Ability to define, initiate and drive business opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Good understanding of the internet/mobile app industry
Advanced skill in MS Excel, and PowerPoint
Fluency in Korean required as this role requires to manage the Korea Account and to liaise with clients & counterparts in Korea.
Preferred Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Strategic Partnerships Manager to drive Unlimit's growth in Singapore and the SEA region. You will build and manage strategic partnerships with professional services firms, cross-border associations, FinTechs, and eCommerce platforms to drive client acquisition, transaction volume and enhance brand presence. This role is hands-on and entrepreneurial, requiring the ability to navigate complex situations independently while delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage relationships with professional services partners, including corporate secretarial, consulting, and accounting firms, as well as cross-border associations and SEA digital industry partners to drive client acquisition and Unlimit's market share.
  • Collaborate with partners to execute local go-to-market strategies that enhance merchant acquisition, increase brand awareness, and provide education.
  • Own and manage a dedicated portfolio of partners, serving as their primary internal champion and resource for all Unlimit solutions and initiatives.
  • Leverage knowledge of corporate bank transfers, FX, and cross-border payment landscapes to identify new opportunities and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Develop long-term account plans with strategic partners, secure commercial agreements, and deliver sustainable growth.
  • Represent Unlimit at industry events, conferences, and in-person meetings to strengthen partnerships and expand the professional network.
  • Provide feedback to improve partner processes, internal operations, and client experience, ensuring smooth collaboration and high satisfaction.
Candidate Profile:
  • 2–7 years in sales, business development, partnerships, payments, fintech, or related financial services.
  • Comfortable operating independently in ambiguous situations and taking ownership of initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking, FX, cross-border transactions, and the SEA payments landscape; established network in professional services and cross-border business communities preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, or another SEA language; excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

You will focus on new verticals or Apps/Gaming developers in a fast-paced environment and rapidly changing industry landscape that will call for creativity and thought leadership to enable business transformation. You will provide innovative, industry-leading business generation and platform solutions for developers and publishers, proactively identify new opportunities, and influence product roadmap and strategy internally.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
Develop valuable new business partnerships with app developers/publishers and help to grow their businesses. Design, build and launch new App centric vertical narratives in the South East Asia (SEA) market.
Identify business and product opportunities via data-driven analysis to expand Google’s platform and business growth.
Manage a portfolio of strategic partners in Singapore, helping them drive long-term sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction with Google’s suite of App ad solutions.
Develop executive-level relationships with partners by becoming a trusted advisor, providing business and product expertise, and providing exceptional customer support.
Work with a variety of teams at Google (e.g., Product, Technical Support, Marketing) to ensure your publisher partners have access to the resources they need to succeed. Recognize market needs to provide feedback to strategies and product roadmap.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in client management and business or a related role.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local stakeholders and clients in the region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in partner/client relationship-building, with the ability to engage and negotiate with new partners/clients.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
