Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for uncovering market opportunities and turning insights into impact? We are seeking a Strategic Marketing Specialist to lead B2B marketing initiatives and drive growth across the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on Southeast and South Asia.

Key Responsibilities1. Market Research & Strategy
Analyze macro trends, market shifts, and competitor movements.
Identify and segment emerging market opportunities.
Prioritize and recommend high-potential growth areas through robust targeting and positioning strategies.
2. Project Leadership
Lead strategic projects in areas such as market development, product innovation, and new business models.
Drive cross-functional teams through a structured innovation process (stage-gate).
3. Strategic Marketing Enablement
Act as the regional competency leader in strategic marketing frameworks and tools.
Train and coach teams on methodologies including:
Market sizing & segmentation
Value chain & customer VOC analysis
Financial modeling (NPV, IRR, break-even)
Value proposition and pricing development
Full 4P marketing strategy execution
Develop and deploy custom marketing tools as needed.
Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic marketing or business strategy roles.
At least 5 years in a customer-facing capacity.
Background in B2B industries — experience in materials science is a strong plus.
MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in global business English .
Proven leadership in project and change management .
Ability to lead in a virtual, cross-regional team environment (Americas, Europe, APAC).
Willingness to travel 20–40% , including international travel.

**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Strategy: Work with the Country GM to synthesize, develop, and execute the in country strategic marketing and commercial plans in line with business goals and objectives.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Ideally a candidate with minimum 8-10 years working experience in the Medical Device or Pharma industry
+ Plus points for the following: 3 (ideally 4+) years in a top tier management consulting firm and additional bonus points for having exposure to diagnostic healthcare services operations or commercial delivery.
+ Strong people leadership experience and servant leadership mindset is required

- Experience engaging with technical and commercial teams , including R&D, BU leadership, and strategy groups.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management and issue-tracking tools .
- Background in foundry marketing or ecosystem strategy .
- Understanding of IP roadmaps and technology inflection points in 5G, IoT, Silicon Photonics, and Edge AI .
- Experience in investor-facing roles or preparing content for investor presentations.
- Multicultural team leadership or work experience in international, matrixed organizations.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree or MBA a plus.

Job Purpose
- To lead and conduct quantitative market research and secondary research projects that support the strategic marketing and communications objectives of the bank and its business units
- To measure impact of key campaigns and initiatives on brand health, customer perception, and marketing effectiveness
- Lead all primary and secondary market research projects to inform strategic decisions for enhancing the brand and marketing performance of the bank
- Ensure validity and timeliness of research deliverables and adhere to ethical and professional standards of market research practice
- As a key member of analytics team, enable holistic measurement of impact from cross-channel communication initiatives on brand health and outcomes
- Closely manage research budget and agencies effectively with oversight spanning DBS’ six core markets
- Design and implement quantitative market research studies with a focus on brand perceptions around areas such as digital transformation, sustainability, in addition to business priorities
- Design qualitative studies (e.g., in-depth interviews, focus groups, online communities) to explore brand perception and customer motivation, where appropriate
- Plan and execute market research projects end-to-end, including defining research objectives, proposal, questionnaire, dashboarding and sampling methods
- Manage research budget and agencies effectively as the sole point of contact, including evaluation, sourcing and contract management
- Leverage Gen AI tools to extract, summarize, and synthesize primary and secondary sources, and social listening data for deeper insight generation
- Ensure the validity and timeliness of fieldwork and research deliverables, and collaborate with analytics team to maintain and improve the research dashboards
- Generate and communicate research findings through reports and presentations that are clear, concise and engaging for different audiences
- Triangulate research findings with key metrics from digital channels to evaluate holistic impact of marketing initiatives on brand outcomes
- Collaborate with other research teams across business units to cross-leverage capabilities and ensure integration of research practices
- Explore new opportunities and trends in market research to drive continuous improvement of research processes and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences or business/marketing related fields
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in market research practices underpinned by strong understanding of mix of research methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in delivering consumer insights and competitive intelligence based on primary and secondary research
- Experience with statistical analysis and visualisation tools such as SAS, R, Python, Tableau is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
- Agile project management with ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders
