The Senior Manager for Corporate Communication will lead all facets of corporate communications for TUMCREATE and its multidisciplinary research initiatives. This strategic role is pivotal in shaping the organisation's public image and fostering meaningful engagement with stakeholders across academia, industry, and government. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communication & Campaigns
- Develop and execute original, creative, and impactful science communication campaigns and publications that captivate existing stakeholders and elevate the company's visibility within academic circles, industry sectors, and government agencies.
Content Creation & Editorial Oversight
- Produce high-quality short- and long- form content, including press releases, speeches, and social media articles tailored to both scientific audiences and the general public. These will be published across various platforms such as the company website, social media, media outlets, and internal or public communication channels.
- Serve as editor for scientific posters, essays, and visual materials created by research teams and partners, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with communication goals.
Operational Communication Duties
- Maintain and update the company's media platforms, monitor daily media coverage, and advise on media engagement opportunities.
- Correspondence with external stakeholders and related operational tasks.
- Updating and maintaining internal contact database.
- Facilitate a productive and cordial working relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders.
Event Leadership & Management (corporate)

Job requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations and related fields from a reputable university is preferred. Applicants with degrees in Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences with outstanding writing experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 - 6 years of relevant working experience at a managerial level, preferably with a tertiary institution, education- or research- based organisation. Applicants with natural science- or engineering- related experience are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and design applications such as Adobe and Canva.
- Possess a diverse portfolio of creative designs and compositions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate a diverse multicultural work environment.
