Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Store Supervisor with a valid Excavator License to manage daily store operations, ensure proper inventory control, and support site operations when required. The role involves supervising store staff, coordinating materials movement, maintaining accurate stock records, and occasionally operating machinery to facilitate loading/unloading or site support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee day-to-day store operations, including receiving, issuing, and safekeeping of construction materials, equipment, and tools.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and update system reports.
- Ensure materials are properly stored, labelled, and in good condition.
- Plan and coordinate delivery schedules with project/site teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Operate excavator (and other relevant machinery) safely and efficiently for loading/unloading of heavy materials when required.
- Supervise and guide store assistants/workers in performing store activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams on material requirements and delivery status.
Requirements:
- Minimum (O-Level/N-Level/ITE or equivalent); higher qualification preferred.
- Proven experience in store/inventory management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Must possess a valid Excavator License (WSQ / MOM recognized).
- Able to operate excavator safely and perform basic machinery upkeep.
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage).
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor construction environment.

- Understand metal fabrication timelines and quality; verify output against drawings.
- Lead setup and planning for new stores (including open yard layouts).

- Regular inspection of stores to ensure proper housekeeping and premises free of pests and mosquitoes.
- Stores must always pass government agencies spot checks.

- Conduct annual appraisals for storemen and excavator operators.
Requirements:
- Minimally 3 years of supervisory experience in the construction industry.
- Familiar with inventory control and metal fabrication processes.
- Intermediate computer skills; exposed with Power Apps or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 and/or Globe 3 will be an added advantage.
- Good time management and critical thinking skills.
