Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Executive to join our team in the Stakeholder Engagement Department. The role involves strategising to engage the Brigade's various stakeholders, partners, donors and supporters, so that the Brigade and its BB Companies can operate well with its various partners and also build up donor base for a more financially robust Brigade.

The staff will therefore need to:

  • Prepare and coordinate interviews, media releases, speeches, marketing collaterals, publications, videos and other promotional materials
  • Be responsible for website and social media content and updates
  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders and partners in relation to starting new BB Companies and the overall health of each Company
  • Work with and support BB volunteers and teachers in ensuring BB Companies are operating well
  • Develop materials and resources for BB Companies to use to recruit new members and volunteers
  • Be responsible for the donor management system; manage existing donors while growing the donor database
  • Plan, organise and execute fundraising campaigns / events / activities

Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognised university
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organising skills
  • Ability to create short videos and graphic collaterals will be an advantage
  • Able to work independently but also a team player working towards shared goals
  • Willing to put in extra time to work with volunteers on some evenings and Saturdays
  • Have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic design or communication skills (e.g., Canva, newsletters) can be a plus

  • At least 7 years of experience working for social service agencies, the public service, or international non-profit organisations, with working proficiency and familiarity with the Charities Act, Personal Data Protection Act, and other relevant regulations.
  • Proven experience in non-profit operations, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by donors (i.e., high net worth family offices, corporations, philanthropists, etc.).

Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU Singapore) is a young and research-intensive institution, with more than 30,000 students in engineering, business, science, humanities, arts, social sciences, education and medicine. It is ranked among the world’s top universities. We are seeking experienced professionals to join us as an Assistant Manager, Stakeholder Engagement.

The position will support the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur), which is part of the University’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) cluster. NTUpreneur provides students with the academic rigour and immersive experiences to develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset as well as equip students with the necessary skillsets, tools and networks that will help them to be future-ready and thrive in an increasingly disruptive global marketplace.

Reporting to an Assistant Director, Stakeholder Engagement, the candidate will contribute to the fulfilment of NTUpreneur’s mission through initiating and developing strategic partnerships and engagements with student groups, alumni, corporates, government and non-government organisations. S/he will nurture, maintain and steer these relationships towards achieving the goals and aspirations of the University in entrepreneurship education.

S/he will develop and implement an effective communications plan, leveraging on social media, digital and physical and hybrid event platforms. The goal is to build a vibrant community and to keep all stakeholders abreast of the work, growth and development of the NTU I&E ecosystem and to thereby raise the profile, visibility and reach of NTU I&E in Singapore and around the world.

Responsibilities include:

1) Support Student Engagement in I&E Activities

  • Contribute to a strong support system for students to develop their I&E ideas, working with NTUpreneur undergraduate and postgraduate and programmes.

  • Work with academic teams and instructors to help plan and run student activities like NTUpreneur Day, sharing sessions, networking events, and company visits.

  • Coordinate with faculty to engage experts from outside NTU to contribute to classes and share real-world industry knowledge.

  • Support student leadership in I&E activities, particularly with student groups and networks like Entrepreneurship Society.

  • Organize industry visits to enhance student learning and industry exposure.

2) Support Alumni Engagement

  • Implement NTUpreneur alumni engagement for alumni groups and individual alumni.

  • Work with the Alumni Association to support their efforts to grow membership and engage alumni.

  • Establish informal alumni “Entrepreneurship Interest Groups” among local and overseas alumni.

  • Recruit new alumni to serve as mentors, speakers, collaborators, etc.

  • Maintain and update NTUpreneur alumni database, ensuring accurate contact information, and contact history.

  • Coordinate engagement plans for overseas alumni and facilitate alumni give-back.

  • Work closely with the NTU Office of Alumni Engagement to optimise resources to improve alumni outreach.

3) Facilitate Engagement with Industry and Corporate Partners

  • Identify and connect with companies in Singapore and overseas for joint activities that benefit the NTUpreneur community, especially students and alumni.

  • Explore collaboration opportunities like internships, competitions, and innovation challenges with companies.

  • Build relationships with corporate innovation teams to arrange for immersive visits for students.

  • Research, identify, and engage alumni working in target companies to participate in NTUpreneur programmes.

4) Coordinate the Voluntary Alumni-Industry Mentorship Programme

  • Manage the NTUpreneur Entrepreneurship Mentoring Programme (EMP). Identify, recruit and coordinate the appointment of alumni and industry professionals to serve as mentors.

  • Develop a system to on-board and organize mentors and students, including a matching process for different NTUpreneur programmes based on the needs of the mentees.

  • Plan, budget and implement strategies to encourage participation and ensure the programme's success.

  • Track and monitor the progress of EMP and support follow-up actions.

5) Support Execution of Communication s Strategies

  • Drive major NTUpreneur-wide events. Provide coordination for events held at programme level.

  • Assist in gathering data on student engagement and audience reach through social media analytics.

Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU Singapore) is a young and research-intensive institution, with more than 30,000 students in engineering, business, science, humanities, arts, social sciences, education and medicine. It is ranked among the world's top universities.

We are seeking experienced professionals to join us as a Senior Executive, Stakeholder Engagement. The position will support the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur), which is part of the University's Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) cluster.

NTUpreneur provides students with the academic rigour and immersive experiences to develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset as well as equip students with the necessary skillsets, tools and networks that will help them to be future-ready and be better able to thrive in an increasingly disruptive and unpredictable global environment.

The candidate will be involved in creating awareness and interest among the NTU student body in I&E programmes and activities offered by NTUpreneur. The candidate will reach out to students, work with faculty and other internal teams as well as external partners to conceptualise and carry out programmes that bring about impactful learning outcomes. The role will have a strong communications component as outreach will leverage on social media, digital and physical and hybrid event platforms.

Responsibilities:

1) Coordinate Outreach and Engagement with Students

  • Work closely with faculty, internal units, alumni and corporates in curating and creating relevant I&E activities that enhance learning outcomes for the students.
  • Leverage and coordinate NTUpreneur ad-hoc events organized by various units and to synch with classes so that more students can attend and benefit from these events.
  • Work closely with faculty and instructors to explore ways of incorporating classroom activities with events organized by external parties (such as industry talks, exhibitions, visits to startups).
  • Solicit corporate and industry partners to create relevant programmes for students (e.g. visit to corporate innovation centres).

2) Create I&E Awareness and Raise Advocates Among Organised Student Clubs and Societies

  • Identify and reach out to student leaders, relevant clubs and societies for deeper engagement and raise among them advocates of I&E.
  • Recruit student leaders and supporters who will become advocates of I&E among their peers.
  • Identify key clubs and societies aligned with I&E and strengthen partnerships with them.
  • Host regular networking lunches with club presidents and their members to understand recruitment cycles and collaboration opportunities.
  • Support student clubs and societies in curating and creating I&E events by providing speakers, mentors, or promotional and funding support.

3) Operationalize Voluntary Alumni-Industry Mentorship Programme

  • Support the implementation of the NTUpreneur Entrepreneurship Mentoring Programme (EMP).
  • Responsible for onboarding and organizing mentors and students, including a matching process for different NTUpreneur programmes.
  • Facilitate the implementation of strategies to encourage and increase participation rates and ensure the programme's success.
  • Help track and monitor the progress of EMP and support follow-up actions.
  • Manage a database of alumni and corporate volunteers based on utilization rates, mentor profile (sector, skills, location or knowledge).

4) Provide Digital and Online Support

  • Provide marketing and communications support to internal units to establish NTUpreneur as a leading institution for the learning and practice of innovation and entrepreneurship in NTU and beyond.
  • Create and generate content for social media platforms to promote I&E activities in the digital space.
  • Assist in the development of publicity materials (e.g., posters, banners, floor stickers, digital brochures, corporate gifts, etc.) in accordance with NTU corporate guidelines.
  • Work with internal units to collate and review editorial content and update in NTUpreneur's website.
  • Provide oversight to website (content and UX/UI issues) and blogs on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate with all units to manage the NTUpreneur event calendar.
  • Procure and manage corporate gifts, its distribution and inventory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any discipline.
  • Experience in planning and organising outreach and engagement events for students in Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs).
  • Experience in event management.
  • Experience in traditional and digital marketing, and management of corporate websites and blogs.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan work activities in an organised manner and work under tight timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful and creative with good communication and writing skills.

The Methodist School of Music (MSM) is an agency of The Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS). Its Worship and Music (WM) arm seeks to enhance the quality of worship by nurturing and equipping the body of Christ in the areas of Worship and Music. At the same time, as a private school registered with the Ministry of Education, the school offers various music instrumental and dance classes through its Community Music (CM) arm.

We have a vacancy for Stakeholder Engagement Manager (1-year contract) .

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including church members, leaders, volunteers, donors, local businesses, community organisations, and possibly even government entities.
  • Regularly communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between the church and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and mutual support.

2. Community Outreach and Engagement

  • Develop and implement outreach programmes to connect with individuals and groups within the local community.
  • Organise community events, workshops, and initiatives to promote the church’s values and services.
  • Identify opportunities for the church to address community needs and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions.

3. Volunteer Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support various MSM programs and activities.
  • Provide ongoing support and recognition to volunteers to ensure high levels of engagement and retention.
  • Develop volunteer engagement strategies to maximise participation and effectiveness.

4. Donor Relations and Fundraising

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the financial needs of MSM.
  • Cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors to secure financial support.
  • Manage donor databases and acknowledge contributions in a timely and personalised manner.

5. Administrative Duties

  • Manage budgets for stakeholder engagement programs, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and responsibly.
  • Maintain accurate records, communications, and documentation of stakeholder engagement programs, including donor information, budget monitoring, regulatory requirements, and grant reporting requirements.
  • Ensure timely and quality completion of organisation policy requirements and assigned responsibilities.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Non-Profit Management, or a related field, from an established institution or university.
  • At least 7 years of experience working for social service agencies, the public service, or international non-profit organisations, with working proficiency and familiarity with the Charities Act, Personal Data Protection Act, and other relevant regulations.
  • Proven experience in non-profit operations, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by donors (i.e., high net worth family offices, corporations, philanthropists, etc.).
  • Knowledge of relevant government policies and grant programmes, with attention to detail in submitting the requisite documents for programmes and regulatory compliance.
  • Able to work well independently, under tight timelines, and on weekends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in interacting effectively with donors and stakeholders. Must have genuine patience for long conversations and high level relationship management.

What the role is

Project title: Policy Research to Support Senior Employment
The Workplace Policy and Strategy Division (WPSD) in MOM develops policies covering a wide spectrum of issues to address the needs of the changing workforce and foster a more inclusive workplace.
The intern will be involved in conducting research on the senior employment landscape internationally, recommending innovative strategies that can be applied in the Singapore context, and working closely with key stakeholders to develop policies to support senior employment.

What you will be working on

  1. Conduct desktop research on age-friendly jobs and workplace practices, assess and recommend relevant learning points to inform the development of policies to support senior employment
  2. Support the planning and development of senior employment policies and strategies, which include liaising with key stakeholders (e.g. employers, unions, government agencies)
