Our HR team focuses on building and maintaining a competent workforce through effective manpower planning and talent management. We work closely with our divisions to understand their staffing needs, analyse workforce trends, and develop practical solutions to meet CAAS' current and future manpower requirements.
We are seeking a results-driven HR professional who can leverage on workforce analytics and data insights to drive effective manpower planning at CAAS. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic workforce initiatives that align with our organisational priorities.
What You Will Be Working On
In this role, you will:
- Be part of the team that lead the review and optimisation of organisational structures across CAAS divisions, including analysing current structures and manpower distribution to identify opportunities for greater efficiency
- Implement manpower planning initiatives by analysing current workforce composition, identifying emerging needs, and developing practical solutions to meet our staffing requirements
- Partner with divisions to understand their workplans and translate these into actionable manpower strategies
- Review and maintain manpower forecasts, taking into consideration retirement patterns, succession plans, new functional and operational needs
- Develop data-driven recommendations to address workforce gaps and support divisions in resource optimisation
- Monitor and report on key workforce metrics, planning indicators and manpower analytics and provide insights to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making
- Coordinate with Finance Division on manpower budget planning and tracking
- Review and ensure compliance with relevant workforce policies, guidelines and statutory requirements for all employment transition cases, including processing of emplacement of contract employment to permanent tenure, resignation, exit management, retirement and re-employment.
- Qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in strategic workforce planning and organisational design
- Good stakeholder management, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organisational levels
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in relevant HR software, visualisation tools, Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with Singapore public sector HR practices and WOG initiatives is a plus

- Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
