Responsibilities:

• Operationalizes and maintains a multi-cloud security architecture in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements
• Implements and manages security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools to protect cloud-based systems and data

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities
Configure, deploy, and manage physical and virtual servers
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to compute, storage, and network equipment
Repair servers (replace hard drives; replace bad sticks of RAM, etc.)
Service tickets within a Jira ticketing system to address problems, incidents, and engineering support requests
VM provisioning, vSphere troubleshooting/administration
Support and maintain LSF grid
Upgrade and patch BIOS, firmware, drivers to meet performance and security requirements
Update and patch primarily Linux with some Windows environment to meet performance and security requirements
Maintain monitoring systems to manage system availability, performance, and capacity
Support project level improvement initiatives
Maintain and enhance the security posture of the infrastructure and applications

The Role

What You'll Do
