We are seeking a Medical Specialist to join the Medical Review & Compliance Group under the Medical Services Management Department (MSMD).

The Medical Specialist's primary role is to provide high-level consultations on medical cases, leading medical guidance and best practices. Spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and engage in innovative research and development.

The specialist collaborates on medical policy formulation, ensures interdepartmental cooperation for comprehensive patient care, and advocates for patient needs and rights. Additionally, they stay updated on medical advancements to enhance care, emphasizing leadership, collaboration, and the advancement of medical practices.

Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate you will perform the following:

• Monitors and reports on Third Party Administrator (TPA) and Joint Venture key performance indicators (KPIs) as per terms and conditions of contracts.
• Reviews and assesses Third Party Administrator (TPA) and Joint Venture quality improvement and liability case reviews and compiles reports for Medical Joint Venture Coordination Department (MJVCD) and Saudi Aramco Organization executive management.
• Interprets and implements quality assurance standards.
• Meets regularly with TPA and JV quality improvement representatives to provide information, guidance and feedback on quality improvement activities.
• Reviews existing policies and procedures for adherence to quality standards.
• Reviews and evaluates patient medical records, applying quality assurance criteria. May oversee personnel engaged in quality assurance review of medical records.
• Collaborates with all levels of healthcare management in assessing the recommended goals, priorities and standards of healthcare practice and patient care.

Minimum requirements

As a successful candidate, you will have:

• Bachelor Degree in Healthcare is required. Master’s degree in Healthcare or related fields is preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in healthcare / including 5 years in Healthcare Quality Assurance/Improvement.
• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Licensed and registered for Clinical Practice in Human Healhcare (Required).
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) (Preferred).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide medical and scientific expertise on gene testing products in Oncology to internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Support the planning and execution of medical education programs, advisory boards, and scientific symposia.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate and disseminate clinical evidence, including study protocols, data analyses, and publications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or healthcare consulting within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong understanding of genetic testing, molecular diagnostics, and their applications in Oncology.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic thinking in medical affairs activities.

Overview
As a Medical Informatics Specialist, you will provide support for the organization’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. You will also provide assistance to the system build, enhancement, and other related services, all aimed at providing patients with seamless and secured medical information.

Responsibilities

1. Support the running of the EMR System by performing analysis, design, development, and maintenance of the hospital EMR application systems.
2. Provide training to users for safe, efficient, and effective use of the EMR System.
3. Configure vendor applications and products, maintain system documentation, and develop system specifications and procedures.
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders to learn and understand user department practices and procedures, to define and document user requirements, and to audit the data entered by end users.
5. Provide maintenance and assistance to EMR-related requests such as performing system testing, developing and preparing test plans and data, and providing on-site user support during implementation.
6. Be responsible for on-call system application support at scheduled times to troubleshoot and track issues.
7. Apply systems development methodology to solve problems and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Allied Health / Nursing, majoring in healthcare and equivalent, or computer science, arts, and business-related fields.
