Role Overview:
- Be the focal point for special tooling & equipment purchase and drive vendor performance in accordance to established purchase orders / contracts
- Provide RFQ/RFP/contract negotiation support
- Lead small contract negotiations/key projects, engaging with key stakeholders (e.g. key operational stakeholders in operations / engineering / maintenance etc.) in defining/understanding requirements through to implementation
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to sourcing and development of suppliers with respect to technology, performance, quality, cost, logistics and delivery
- Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfillment ensuring suppliers are able to meet requirements for performance, quality, cost and delivery of goods and services
- Create & manage purchase orders through to delivery & supplier invoicing/payment
- Support, maintain, and update key sourcing tools, processes and systems such as cost savings tracker, preferred supplier list (Oracle Cloud & KYS), etc.
- Provide other key support to the site sourcing team
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
