Cisco is looking for experienced Systems Engineers with a strong technical background. The SE will partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco Software and Product solutions. Our team owns the pre-sales coverage for the local virtual lead selling motion and is relying on many other peers to cover all sales opportunities. You will be a key player to focus on the strategic opportunities on the territory covered by Virtual Sales and enable the team to sell more.
In this role, you will have direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in an assigned geography. 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

What you'll do
Lead the technical Strategy for nominated customers and prospects, you will be required to present and discuss solution options and technology to potential customers.
Support Sales in producing Proposal and Statements of Work documents for customer opportunities and their complex solution requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Drive cloud migration strategies, hybrid/multi-cloud adoption, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and operational best practices.
- Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines (e.g., Databricks, Spark, SQL, ETL).
- Architect and optimize data lakehouses, warehouses, and data marts to support analytics and reporting.
- Implement best practices for data quality, data lineage, and data governance.
- Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams.
- Enforce engineering standards (CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code).
- Review technical designs, code quality, and ensure adherence to InfoCepts' best practices.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost objectives are met.
- Identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support pre-sales and client engagements with solution demonstrations and technical proposals.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience in cloud architecture, data engineering, and leading technical teams.
- Strong expertise in:
- Cloud Platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Data Engineering : Databricks, Spark, SQL, ETL tools
- Infrastructure as Code : Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- DevOps : CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic oversight.
