Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IBM FileNet Developer with strong expertise in IBM FileNet, Case Manager, BPM, and Content Navigator. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in customizing widgets and plugins using Dojo, developing Java components, REST services, and working with SQL & PL/SQL for backend integrations. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting FileNet-based solutions, ensuring robust document and case management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and support IBM FileNet P8, Case Manager, BPM, and Content Navigator solutions.
  • Customize and enhance Content Navigator widgets and plugins using Dojo toolkit.
  • Develop and maintain backend Java components and REST APIs.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL queries for integration with relational databases.
  • Provide support for existing widget/plugin modules and resolve defects.
  • Ensure proper documentation of solutions, including technical specifications and deployment guides.

Required Qualifications:

Job Objectives:

To support AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Projects/CRs for Singapore and Regional entities



Responsibilities:

Participate in end-to-end projects for system implementation of MLS system

Engage and collaborate with Architects, Security and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards

Liaise with application teams across group and countries build the enhancements according to the technical solution plan

Analyse user requirements and convert requirements to design document and other system documentation to capture key design decisions

Plan technical deliverables, perform design and development works to meet project’s requirements within schedule

Perform data mapping and process mapping with interfacing applications

Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions

Create technical documents for the solutions. Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation as requested

Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization

Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing

Partner with Test Management teams to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance / load testing and application security testing with quality result

Liaise with other application teams and business users to prepare test cases and test data prior to testing in UAT and Mock Run environment

Manage project change request approval windows and deployment schedule

Requirements:

The Secure Supply Chain team, within SDLC, is a function focused on ensuring that the code Goldman Sachs deploys is as secure as possible. In this role, the engineer will focus on next generation Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) system for dependency tracking and analysis. We blend third-party tooling with in-house systems to improve the security of many types of code including backend, frontend, infrastructure, and mobile.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

  • Build and design systems that secure the entirety of Goldman Sachs' software supply chain
  • Build and integrate systems detecting third-party vulnerabilities in libraries, OS and container components, etc.
  • Integrate with our GitLab, CI/CD, and build attestation systems
  • Partner effectively with Goldman's infrastructure teams and other security teams
  • Collaborate with developers across Goldman Sachs to ensure our systems are embedded in their workflows
  • Learn about security and apply that knowledge towards real-world problems

Skills And Experience We Are Looking For

  • 1+ (for Analyst)/ 3+ (for Associate) years of industry experience as a programmer, developer, SWE, or similar job roles
  • General knowledge of multiple languages, and in-depth knowledge of at least one of: Golang, Java, Python
  • General knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS

Securities Database, known as SecDb, is the backbone of Goldman Sachs’ risk analytics platform for securities. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Maintain and improve the Slang SDLC workflow and tooling on the SecDb platform
  • Focus on user experience and customer satisfaction
  • Interact directly with the business and other tech teams to build innovative solutions to support the GS business
  • Develop quickly on SecDb: changes to production systems can be made and deployed within minutes, while maintaining high quality standards

We are responsible for Goldman Sachs’ mission critical production platforms. Our aim is to innovate and drive technology solutions that will empower our engineers to deliver value to our clients. By joining us, you will be part of a diverse global technical team focusing on solving critical business problems.

What Slang Sdlc Is

Securities Database, known as SecDb, is the backbone of Goldman Sachs’ risk analytics platform for securities. The development of this proprietary software system marked a significant milestone in Goldman Sachs’ technological history. SecDb continues to be a strategic, critical platform for the Firm that we will continue to invest in for the foreseeable future. Slang stands for Securities Language - it is the language of SecDb. It is used by thousands of GS engineers worldwide, with 1500 production releases per day on average. It's our hyper-converged SDLC that supports this rapid development cycle, which our front office businesses rely on.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain and improve the Slang SDLC workflow and tooling on the SecDb platform
  • Focus on user experience and customer satisfaction
  • Interact directly with the business and other tech teams to build innovative solutions to support the GS business
  • Develop quickly on SecDb: changes to production systems can be made and deployed within minutes, while maintaining high quality standards
  • High impact: Play a critical part in delivering value to our thousands of Slang developers worldwide

What We Need From You

  • A technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field
  • Solid understanding and algorithms and data structures
  • Min. 1 year (for Analyst)/ 3 years (for Associate)of experience in deep knowledge of object-oriented computer programming, preferably in large scale financial or technical organization
  • Strong software development and design experience, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts
  • Experience in working with large and complex software systems, distributed computing, and databases
  • Ability to work cross-functionally as well as the ability to work as a hands-on individual contributor
  • Motivation to learn about trading workflow and financial markets
  • Slang experience is not required but highly advantageous

Our Impact

Our Securities Lending role involves working in a dynamic front-office trading environment.

Our end to end technology stack runs the firm’s Securities Lending business. We build innovative tech solutions for our businesses, allowing them to serve their Hedge Fund clients and Institutional Lenders. Our highly global technical team, sitting close to our traders, work together delivering solutions with a particular focus on micro services and trader UX. We’re agile, global and diverse. We currently have a strong focus on re-engineering and further automating our flows to enable us to increase our volumes to various electronic venues in a way that provides scale, transparency and control for trading.


Your Impact

You'll be responsible for being innovative, creative in solving real world problems related to trading and financial markets. This role will involve data analysis, designing, writing, reviewing, testing and implementing a variety of scalable applications leveraging the latest technologies. The applications we develop include inventory and risk management, calculating client pnl, and facilitating internal/external trading flows.

You will undertake development across all tiers of our business-facing systems within a global team (NY, LDN, Warsaw, Bengaluru, SLC). You will be expected to implement and suggest best development practices/methodologies to deliver high quality software throughout the development stack. Our primary technologies are Java, kafka, databases (MongoDB, Sybase, DB2, DataLake) and Web (reactJS, TypeScript).


How will you fulfill your potential?

  • Develop a deep understanding how markets function front-to-back in the finance domain covering trading, client flow and transaction management
  • Develop good project management skills & leadership skills
  • Develop strong skills in programming and technical architecture design
  • Build close working relationships with Business users covering Front Office Traders, Middle Office Operations and Back Office users.
  • Develop personal skills to a high level
  • Participate in a high work ethic environment

Basic Qualifications

  • Min. 1 year of OO design/development experience
  • Min. 1 year of Java experience
  • Experience with test driven development and methodology
  • Experience with real time streaming technologies like Kafka, Kafka-Stream
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and familiarity with REST services
  • Experience providing high quality production support to a demanding user base
  • Experience with requirement gathering from interactions with end-users
  • Experience with full project life cycle and agile style development
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate solid ability to multi-task (1-2 simultaneous projects)
  • Must be a self-starter

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real-time systems/messaging infrastructures
  • Experience with full stack development
  • Familiarity with build/deployment/runtime tools e.g. Gradle, Maven, Git, Spring, Kubernetes, Cloud
  • Finance, Securities Lending and Equities knowledge a strong plus
  • Familiarity with building and running resilient and scalable systems
