Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Costing, M&E, and Business Departments to fulfill all tender requirements efficiently.
- Collaborate with Construction Department staff in planning, particularly in areas related to tender strategy and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) compliance.
- Attend subcontractor and supplier workshop meetings related to tenders and ensure all necessary preparations are completed.
- Ensure that proposed construction plans align with drawings, specifications, and relevant authority requirements.
- Develop comprehensive construction schedules using Microsoft Project (or equivalent), reflecting accurate work sequences from project commencement to TOP (Temporary Occupation Permit).
- Propose practical and alternative layouts for Temporary Site Facilities to optimize site operations.
- Analyze and recommend efficient and authority-compliant construction sequences for structural and architectural works, in line with contract specifications.
- Suggest suitable and cost-effective Earth Retaining or Stabilizing Structures (ERSS) for submission to the Costing Department.
- Provide technical support to the Tender Team by addressing consultant queries and offering insights.
- Estimate manpower and resource requirements for tender submissions, based on project scope and timelines.
- Support the Project Team in refining and implementing proposed solutions post-tender award.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify discrepancies, value engineering opportunities, and key areas for attention.
- Participate in on-site safety inspections to assess safety standards and workmanship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD for planning and documentation purposes.
- Review construction previews submitted by the Project Team and coordinate with them to obtain approval from Japan HQ.
- Assist with enhancing EHS practices across sites by supporting office management initiatives for continual improvement.
