Roles & Responsibilities

You will ensure successful accreditation of the Residency Programme by maintaining proper documentation and ensuring compliance with the prevailing medical residency accreditation standards. You will be involved in the day-to-day management of educational and departmental activities, providing administrative support to the Programme Director, ensuring that there is a sufficient number of trained faculty, as well as ensuring a good learning experience and welfare of the Residents. You are also required to work closely with other Programme Executives, department administrative staff/secretaries, faculty and staff from the Graduate Medical Education Office, and to support the Graduate Medical Education Office in major activities and events.

Roles & Responsibilities

You will provide secretariat support to the respective Performance Review Sub-Committees (PRS) in the training sites which oversee the performance and remediation of Post-graduate Year 1 (PGY1), as well as ensure the effective implementation of the national PGY1 framework at an institution level. Other responsibilities include registering new PGY1s at the start of each posting, managing the rotational planning, ensuring timely collection and screening of various assessment reports of PGY1 in preparation for the Performance Review Sub-Committees meetings and reports to the Training and Assessment Standards Committee.

You will also provide administrative support to the Program Director by administering the PGY1 feedback survey, as well as ensuring the welfare of the PGY1s and facilitating a good learning experience for them. You will work closely with other Program Executives, department administrative staff/ secretaries, faculty and staff from the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office, and support the GME Office in major activities and events.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or equivalent

The SingHealth AI Office brings together a multi-disciplinary dedicated to developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the academic medicine of tomorrow. Our office has four key functions:

  1. Drive research and development
  2. Attract commercial partnerships
  3. Support AI analytics and governance
  4. Support AI education

Join our world-leading AI team at the SingHealth AI Health Office and contribute to both clinical and operational advancements, working with rich structured and imaging datasets from a large, diverse and complex range of patient profiles.

As a Senior AI Scientist, you will:

  • Develop and validate the different AI algorithms for the Principal Investigator (PI)'s AI and digital innovation related projects, as well as explore novel and evolving technical methods
  • Spearhead technical development whilst exploring novel and evolving methodologies
  • Support the development of cluster platforms and coordinate retrospective data collection for analysis
  • Foster active collaboration with team members, including the coordinator and biostatistician directly involved in the project
  • Publish research outcomes in journals of international standing and other reputable outlets
  • Present scientific outcomes and strategies to project PIs and collaborators to support the successful development, coordination and management of the project
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports for the Director and PIs
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior AI scientists in healthcare AI development and publications

Job Requirements

  • PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in academia or the industry, specifically in AI, machine learning/deep learning (non-medical), or digital health technology
  • Ability to drive and strategise AI initiatives that translate effectively into clinical applications
  • Strong understanding of clinical research principles
  • Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning programming, and other state-of-the-art AI techniques

You will be involved in the maintenance of animal inventory, equipment and facilities to ensure full compliance with the National Advisory Committee for Laboratory Animal Research (NACLAR) guidelines, Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) requirements and American Association for Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) international standards. You are also responsible for ensuring the provision of veterinary husbandry and care to support training and research activities in the centre. You will also be required to interact with researchers to facilitate veterinary operations in the department.
