ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Minimum of 2 years of seagoing experience as a Junior engineer officer onboard ocean going vessels that trading over the home-trade limit.

• Seagoing experience on gas carrier will be an advantage.

• Working experience on shore in shipping/marine industry will be an advantage.

• Thorough knowledge of international maritime regulations, including SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISPS, MLC and ISM Code.

• General knowledge of international organizations such as OCIMF, SIGTTO etc.

• General knowledge of gas carrier's operations, maintenance and safe practices.

• Strong technical knowledge of engineering in ships.

• Good level of IT understanding.

• Ability to innovate and adopt new technologies.

• Good communications skill and fluent in English.

• Ability to communicate effectively in a multinational environment on email / phone.

• Work independently with minimal guidance.

• Good organizational skills.

• Meticulous, proactive, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

• Contribute to improving processes by self-initiative, resourcefulness, and diligence in a fast-paced environment.

• Literate in Computer & MS office Application.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
