Job Description
- Coach & Guide for Field and Console operators for continuous skill development.
- Lead/support the Operating Procedure Update and Plant improvement activities.
- Support plant related risk assessment and lead compliance of Safe operating work practices.
- Lead emergency response, Crisis Management during Shift.
- Responsible for execution of Pre-commissioning, Cold /Hot Commissioning. Support for the Operational readiness of the new plant including walkdowns & punch listing, preparing SOPs & start up planning.
- Provide suggestion to develop and implement improvements in the operating units.
- Support Production ideas for improving Profitability, Safety & Reliability of facilities.
- Work closely with Production Manager, Senior Production Engineer to execute Production Goals/ Targets & Cost optimization ideas.
- Lead the operation shift team to operate main Process units, utilities, material handling, packaging & warehouse.
- Provide shift Leadership for plant operation, optimization & troubleshooting to meet the conditions specified in SOPs during normal operation, plant troubleshooting, Start-ups/ Shutdowns / Turn arounds.
- Perform Permit to Work's job site risk assessment, and issue PTW to achieve safe work executions.
- Good knowledge of DCS systems & Field operation
- Good Coaching & Mentoring Skill to technicians.
- Knowledge of Singapore Regulations & Industry HSE practices & Process Safety.

The role of the Shift Supervisor includes:
- Lead the team in investigations, troubleshooting and problem solving of incidents and abnormal observations

- Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing the direct staff of all production units within a designated shift. He/she coordinates the daily production floor activities and delegates assignments to production teams and individuals.
The Shift Supervisor manages the smooth running of the production processes to enhance product quality and maximise efficiency and performance enabling the products to be manufactured on time.
The Shift Supervisor will ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications; target and deadlines are met. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures; and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
Your Responsibilities
- To take responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production processes and quality targets
- Manage and motivate direct reporting employees by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce the adherence to standard operating procedures, policies and procedures
- Set SMART individual targets and conduct employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions
- Plan, approve and administer the absence and leave planning of the production floor personnel; monitor and enforce working time, breaks and attendance
- Assist in the selection and training of direct reporting employees
- Develop and maintain training programs to ensure that all personnel have for now and the foreseeable future the necessary skills to perform their duties safely and productively
- Constantly monitor the accurate attainment to the production plan; initiate compliant measures to achieve given production targets and KPIs; analyze and report deviations and general issues to the responsible managers
- Maintain material and work flow throughout the manufacturing facility and ensure the workstations are supplied with material quickly and efficiently
- Ensure the adherence to set product quality specification and standards; manage quality issues quickly with minimal disruption to production scheduling; provide support in- and external audits
- Ensure a full and accurate completion of all SAP/ MES booking steps within the area of responsibility
- Ensure a timely initiation of corrective maintenance activities and support the release of equipment back to production use
- To have an active role in company's continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company
- Maintain close liaison with other Shift Supervisors to ensure smooth running of production with minimum downtime and wastage; ensure production handovers are effective communication tools
- Communicates effectively with the Production Manager CRM, informing and updating him/her regularly with regards to delivery dates, work progress, quality, cost reductions, manpower planning and operating problems
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times by educating and directing personnel
- To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company
Your Profile
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent
- Continuing education in Production Management will be preferred
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experiences in the medical device technology or pharmaceutical industry in supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a clean room environment will be advantageous
- Good understanding of production and manufacturing processes and techniques
- Basic knowledge of Six Sigma will be advantageous
- Familiar with ISO13485 and GMP
- Proficient in SAP and MES

- Manage workflow by monitoring processes, adjusting variables, observing control points, managing personnel and resources, and implementing cost-saving measures and system improvements.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing leadership and direction to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.
- Lead training and development initiatives to build a versatile, self-sufficient workforce.
- Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to achieve production targets, balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Assess, review, and forecast material, equipment, and manpower needs.
- Manage scrap levels, production rates, efficiency, yield, downtime, and overtime to meet standards.
- Promote improvement activities in collaboration with support teams.
Skills and Competencies Profile
- Diploma in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), Manufacturing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control practices.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and yield optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in operating production machinery and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a collaborative mindset.
- Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, in a cleanroom environment.

Oversee multiple stations and ensure smooth daily operations.
Support hiring, training, and supervising junior staff.
Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve service issues.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth daily restaurant operations.
Take and serve food & beverage orders, set up tables, and maintain cleanliness standards.
Assist with events, stock checks, and restaurant administration duties.
Any other jobs or duties assigned by the Manager from time to time.
Job Requirements
Experience as a Supervisor in the F&B/hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and people management skills (including shift scheduling & rostering).
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long hours.
