We are seeking a hands-on Operations Assistant. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a hot and dusty environment, and willing to travel to our batching plants across the island.

Job Responsibilities- Oversee material replenishment at all batching plants
- Conduct regular material checks and inspections at aggregate terminal
- Perform barge sighting in coordination with relevant authorities upon aggregate shipment arrival
- Coordinate accurate barge arrangements and truck deployment schedules
- Maintain regular communication with batching plants and/or command centre for material delivery
- Record material inflow and outflow accurately in the system
- Ensure proper storage of materials at designated stockpiles according to supervisor/manager instructions
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Report operational issues promptly to the supervisor/manager
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards at aggregate terminal
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
- Min Secondary education level or equivalent
- No prior experience required as training will be provided
- Able to read and communicate in basic English
- Basic computer literacy
- Swimming ability preferred (due to barge sighting responsibilities)
- Strong team player and diligent
- Able to work independently and with a positive attitude under tight schedules
- Possess good communication, presentation and customer service skills
- Safety Training required: CSOC and BCSS
- Must have own transportation (e.g. bike)
- Willing to work rotating shifts, and commit to overtime and weekend duties
