A Library Shelving Assistant will support our library projects in shelving and stock management. This role involves working independently, with attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong knowledge of retail space planning , fixture design , and material application
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple retail projects under tight timelines

1. Concept Design Development : Develop creative and functional interior design concepts tailored for retail environments. Translate branding and customer experience objectives into spatial design ideas.
2. 2D Drawings & Technical Drafting : Prepare detailed 2D drawings including space plans, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), elevations, sections, joinery, and construction details. Ensure drawings comply with building codes and fit-out requirements.
3. 3D Visualization : Create realistic 3D perspectives/renders to visualize the final retail space. Model design concepts using software like SketchUp or similar. Present rendered views and walk-throughs to clients and stakeholders.
4. Retail-Specific Detailing : Design and detail shopfronts, display units, product shelving, cashier counters, and feature walls. Incorporate signage, lighting concepts, and branding elements into the interior layout.
5. Materials & Finishes Selection : Propose and specify appropriate materials, finishes, color palettes, and fittings. Prepare sample boards and coordinate with suppliers for mockups or approvals.
6. Project Coordination : Liaise with clients, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution. Attend site meetings and inspections to ensure design accuracy during implementation.
7. Documentation & Submission : Prepare necessary design packages and documents for authority submissions (if applicable). Maintain organized records of revisions, client feedback, and approvals.
