Location: North / West
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned operational tasks and escalate issues appropriately during peak workload periods or escalation scenarios.
- Coordinate with external vendors to initiate and manage warranty claims for failed hardware components. This includes collecting necessary information, packaging, shipping, and confirming receipt of returned items in compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Apply process knowledge and sound judgment to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain an awareness of how day-to-day tasks impact broader Inventory and Asset Management (IAM) operations.
- Accurately manage and update asset information across multiple inventory tracking systems, including configuration management databases and asset repositories.
- Ensure precise physical inventory tracking, organization, and staging of hardware.
- Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies and help generate related reports.
- Carry out secure data destruction of data-bearing devices (DBDs) in accordance with company policies and SLA requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and notify appropriate personnel when restocking is needed. Escalate supply chain or inventory-related concerns as required.
- Always adhere to security protocols and data handling policies.
Requirements:
- Min. NITEC cert in Information Technology (IT), Computer Engineering, Building / Facility Management or any other related field
- Min 1-2 years’ experience in IT support & monitoring / data center facilities management (bonus if work in a production, mission-critical 24x7x365 datacenter environment)
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
- Candidates with prior experience carrying out testing of Apple iOS and Android mobile apps will be preferred
- Applicable certifications: ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC), Data Center Foundation Certification (DCFC), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Vendor-Specific Network Certifications
