Our client is a specialist risk underwriter looking to hire experienced M&A candidates, with the focus on W&I insurance, for the Singapore office. The team will be supported by management, along with the underwriting team spread globally in UK and Europe. The team has a wide range of legal, accounting and insurance experience personnel with multilingual language skills and local knowledge. After initial training and ongoing support, this role will select, analyze, and price terms for new M&A enquiries. In addition, the role will fully support and comply with the company's objectives and standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Cultivate and maintain broker relations.

What's This Role Really Like?

This position will principally be responsible for the underwriting, administration and operation of an existing portfolio of Marine Cargo business in conjunction with and under the direction of the appropriate Marine Manager.

Answer general enquiries and correspondence from producers. Refers any problems or questions, when necessary, to Underwriting Manager.

  • Assists with the production of standard reports on a regular basis as required.
