About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical
Software Tester
to join our QA team in
Singapore . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through thorough testing, identifying bugs, and verifying that products meet functional and performance requirements.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in Agile environments to define test plans, execute test cases, and help deliver robust and user-friendly applications to ensure the deliverables of our clientele projects are being met.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and plans to ensure the quality of software products.
Create detailed test plans (including test cases and scripts) for functional, performance, and regression testing, and oversee the execution of these plans.
Promote and implement test automation strategies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Establish and monitor key quality metrics. Prepare and present reports on test progress and other relevant quality assurance metrics.
Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that quality objectives are met.
Identify potential quality risks in software products and processes, and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure that software solutions deliver a positive user experience and comply with the organisation’s standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Hands-on experience with manual testing techniques and test management tools.
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Proven experience in QA processes and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Manual Testing.
Proficiency in API Testing, particularly with Postman.
Strong knowledge and experience in DB Testing and query writing.
