We're looking for a highly skilled and influential specialist to advance the next generation of data-driven strategy at FairPrice Group (FPG). JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in a strategic role within data science, advanced analytics, business intelligence, or management consulting.
  • A proven track record of applying advanced analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning concepts to solve complex business problems and drive growth.
  • Deep industry knowledge of the consumer retail, e-commerce, or digital business landscape is essential.
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of an AI/ML project, from conception to deployment and measurement, is a significant advantage.

**About the Role**
We're looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Principal Specialist to join our Enterprise Services Controls & Compliance team. Based in Singapore with a hybrid model, you will assist with ensuring SOX compliance and enhancing internal controls across Shared Service Centers (SSCs) in AsiaPac. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of supporting process improvements and managing risk while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Drive the annual SOX compliance program, including risk assessments, controls self-assessments, accounting controls assessments, operating test assessments (as required), and SOC report reviews.
+ Collaborate across teams and functions to identify risks, document processes, and assess internal controls.
+ Identify control gaps, recommend corrective actions, drive the resolution process, and monitor the remediation.
+ Assist in evaluating controls for new systems, processes, and business initiatives.
+ Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry best practices to support continuous compliance improvements.
+ Periodic travel to India and China for on-site reviews, collaboration, or audit support.
+ Participate in occasional evening meetings to coordinate with teams in the US time zones.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
+ 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, audit, or risk management. 7+ years overall experience.
+ Strong knowledge of SOX 404 and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO).
+ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and audit management tools.

  • Follow-up with employees through surveys, interviews, or evaluations to identify gaps and any future technical training needs
  • Develop end-to-end integrated learning and development solutions including identifying core issues, forming hypotheses, launching new programs and employing rigorous feedback loops
  • Coach managers and high potential employees to improve their performance and deliver increasingly powerful results
  • Possess knowledge of the Talent Development & Learning team's full portfolio and connect resources to technical training and learning & development systems and infrastructure
  • Experience building and qualifying training programs in accordance with grant methodology
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR, Business or related field
  • Min 4 years of experience leading relevant training and leadership development program/projects, including experience leading cross-functional projects and managing business-wide programs
  • Relevant hands-on experience in a semiconductor/manufacturing/engineering environment is highly desirable
  • Experience with career development, workforce modeling and talent management in a fast paced, global environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing and senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems like Sumtotal, HR Software like WorkDay, & PowerBI
  • Experience with Software like Photoshop for editing videos, handling an AR/VR studio is a plus
  • Experience with leveraging GenAI tools like CoPilot
  • Travel – 10% required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in driving cutting-edge learning and talent development research projects and new initiatives inside global organizations as well as gamifying learning content to make it more accessible
  • Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amount of data and communicating data findings, including experience establishing and tracking program metrics
  • Strong bias for action with experience in identifying and resolving issues independently, takes initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
  • Ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications. Presentation caliber verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player who can also work independently and is a self-starter
  • Experience with award submission processes in Singapore
  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) – preferred
  • Wiley Certified (DiSC & 5Behaviors) - preferred
  • Aperian Globesmart Certified – preferred
  • Coaching Certification – preferred
  • Emotional Intelligence trained or certified – preferred
